By day 4, the
anterior chamber was of normal depth, and trace flare, mild rubeosis iridis, and a small amount of fibrin and hemorrhage were observed in the ventral
anterior chamber OS.
Her acute myopia was reversed,
anterior chamber deepened and lid oedema improved.
Three eyes developed flat
anterior chamber only in group A.
Gross examination of the enucleated eye showed white material in the
anterior chamber. Similar white material was present anterior to the vitreous base and extended circumferentially for 360[degrees] (Figure 3, A).
Refractive and topometric maps obtained with Pentacam (Oculus, Germany) were used to evaluate anterior and posterior corneal axial curvature, corneal volume, central corneal thickness, corneal thickness at the thinnest point,
anterior chamber depth,
anterior chamber angle, and
anterior chamber volume before contact lens fitting.
Several studies reported different results in central corneal thickness (CCT),
anterior chamber depth (ACD),
anterior chamber volume (ACV),
anterior chamber angle (ACA) and refraction changes after Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy.5-7 The Sirius rotating Scheimpflug camera (Sirius, CSO, Florence, Italy) provides rapid quantitative information of the anterior segment.8-10 It examines the posterior surfaces of the cornea, CCT, ACD, ACV, and ACA.
This equates to 1-1.5% of the
anterior chamber volume per minute.
To clarify the relationship between IOP increase and the blood-aqueous barrier function in both scalloped iris eyes and nonscalloped iris eyes (control), we measured the IOP values by using Goldmann applanation tonometry and the
anterior chamber flare.
In all four cases, an
anterior chamber maintainer was inserted and optimal infusion pressure was attained before the intraocular procedure was performed.
Herein we report a rare case of intraocular cilia, which was embedded in the lens at the bulb and protruded into the
anterior chamber with localized central traumatic cataract and moderate
