    No issues encountered so far, did a quick look on steam deck. Thanks!

    If anyone is having trouble getting this to work on steam on a modern PC then try right clicking on the game in your library, going to properties and disabling steam input.

      Controller with ultrawide
      🎮👍🏻😁
      Had to go into Bioengine ini and change the resolution to my Nvidia Surround res of 5880x1080p, then use Flawless Widescreen (making sure to set the same resolution in the FWS display detection...) before launching the game, enjoy!
      PS: I didnt use any ultrawide mod, just set the res in the Biogame ini and launched Flawless Widescreen b4 lanching ME1.

    OMFG THANK U! 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
    For years ive been stuggling with Xpadder and a profile i refined to the best of my ability but Mako rides were a nightmare lol. I cant believe Bioware shipped the PC version with full controller support but couldnt take the time to patch it so it worked properly... SMH 😣

    If anyone wants to remove controller vibration easily with this mod, here's what I did:
    After installing this mod, I downloaded some xinput files from here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vkz69zldyqfytxp/AADFfcQWtKJkZ8gkOnVZ8-fOa?dl=0
    Next I took two files from the 32 folder (because the Mass Effect exe file is 32-bit, not 64-bit) and I placed them in the directory where the exe is. The files are "Xinput9_1_0.dll" and "Xinput1_3.dll". They are both archived so extract them to obtain the dll files. It's possible you only need to use one of them but I used both and that's what turned off vibration, so I'm not sure which is the correct one, but using both is also fine and has caused me no issues.
    Place them both in the directory with Mass Effect exe, which is Program Files > steamapps > common > Mass Effect > Binaries. Then launch the game you normally do to get the controller working (I use the ME3TweaksModManager) and vibration will be turned off.

    for the steam deck config location:
    /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/17460/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/BioWare/Mass Effect/
    you'll have to have manually adjust the permission to view only

    for anyone using modern xbox controllers, or finding it's plain not working: you MUST start the game with your controller off, turn your controller on during the intro videos, then you MUST press start, and only start. then everything is smooth as butter!

    ps: I recommend reducing the sensitivity a tiny bit. Just subtract 4 from LookRightScale and LookUpScale, in Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect/Config/BIOINPUT.ini
    lower to
    LookRightScale=20
    LookUpScale=16
