Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines and enhances Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert using a heavily customized Tiberian Sun engine. Featuring all 4 factions (GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviets) with extremely polished gameplay, DTA allows you to mix and match the factions as you'd like in tons of new multiplayer maps and challenge yourself in dozens of original missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

Description

This is the full version of The Dawn of the Tiberium Age v4.9.0; all files necessary to play are included, so you also don't need to have the original game installed. To install the mod, simply extract all files to an empty folder and run DTA.exe to play.

What is the error message?
Could you upload the cncnetclient.log file somewhere so that we can take a look at it?

Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and all related updates installed.

The .NET Framework versions are separate; having for example 4.0 installed doesn't mean that you would have 3.5 installed. You can have multiple versions installed at a time and they won't affect each other. (As an exception, 3.5 includes 3.0 and 2.0, but that's a special case)

You can use the Chinook to transfer MCVs to the other islands. Simply select the Chinook, click on an MCV of yours, wait for the Chinook to pick it up and then you can tell the Chinook to drop the MCV to the island. If you've played Tiberian Sun and remember GDI's Carryall, DTA's Chinook functions exactly like the TS carryall (except that it's also able to carry infantry).
