"Loner"
Part 1 of a complete weapon reanimation and rebalance pack for Anomaly.
"Loner" - focusing mainly on early-game and common weapons found in the Zone.
The goal of this mod is to provide an enhanced experience to the vanilla arsenal complete with new animations, weapon balancing and stat tweaks, and addition of jamming and firemode select animations.
***IMPORTANT NOTES***
- This was designed for 0.4 HUD FOV and supports up to 0.5. Going higher may lead to undesired results.
- This pack is not completed and only replaces the weapons listed below.
- This mod is still in development and may contain bugs or errors.
- Playing with "Enhanced Recoil Effect" option is not recommended when using my weapons.

Idk. Maybe. Probably not. I have no intentions of making the mod compatible with every other addon out there, however the scope of the project is simple and should be easy for anyone to make their own compatibility patches.

The only Bugs i found
- Equiping "wpn_ak74_rpk" (AK74n EOTECH) causes CTD
- TOZ34 sawn off doesn't aim correctly

This is intentional for sawn-off shotguns.
Finally some proper anims for the AK's it is SO nice to make a partial reload without chambering every single time....My gad!

Yes, this occurs with the NBC suits. Not sure why.

Hey boss, great mod. Though for some reason it makes the MP-443 unusable. When I equip the gun nothing happens, my arms don't even go up in first person, but in third person I can see my STALKER holding the gun. Not sure if it's a conflict on my end or not but just thought I'd pass that along.

Very nice addon. The animations looks so real and gives a pretty natural feeling. I have (re)discovered my love for vanilla ANOMALY weapons. I can't wait for see a mercs weapon pack (I hope it arrives in the future).
I found a bug with the Scorpion vz61, when is out of ammo and its mechanisms keeps open you can see through the weapon because theres a transparent texture.

Not really a bug, just that the interior wasn't modelled for vz.61. I decided to animate the weapon correctly anyways.. maybe one day someone will make an HD weapon pack with my animations.

Looks very promising.
One small glitch i've discovered so far - APS, while running, do not have animation, unlike other weapons. It just disappears (if this was your intention, just forget it).
Pistols are intended to move off-screen during sprint.
Все круто, но...
- У винтовки Мосина после пере��арядки уводится затвор (либо по завершению анимации затвор встает изначально не в правильную позицию).
- У всех дробовиков так или иначе при анимации перезарядки видно как сквозь ружье просвечиваются патроны.
- У пистолетов отсутствуют анимации бега.
- У ТОЗа прицеливание не по центру, а чуть левее.
- СКС и Мосина с оптикой при прицеливании положение стандартное, будто целишься без оптики.
- Ну и при перезарядке автоматов АК видно, что в некоторых магазинах есть патроны, хотя по факту магазин пустой.
- Mosin bolt moving will be fixed, although it is low priority.
- I will look into it.
- Pistols are meant to move off-screen when sprinting. It's intended. Im not a fan of the hands flailing around in front of the player's face while sprinting with a handgun, just looks silly to me.
- TOZ-34 sawn-off sights are misaligned purposefully. There are also ADS animations that introduce sway.
- I will fix this.
- Some AKs don't have bones or even models for bullets, but I might be able to correct it for some. It is a low priority fix.

You will need to edit the configs yourself. In next patch I plan to include an optional file with default values.

I can't use the TOZ-34 with this addon. (and yeah I know it is listed so it should work)
It's not the only addon I'm using but I'm sure the problem is with this one, because without it, I can use it.
Probably conflicting with another weapon mod if you have one.

When did you start working on this addon? I mean it is awesome I'm just wondering how long will it take for you to make it for every single vanilla weapon, can't stand the waiting... :)

Absolutely stunning. Best I've seen, especially compared to those eft rips. Finally some originality. Can't wait for other packs, looking forward to them. Again, good work lad.

I hope you have a plan to touch Bizon too. I admire this gun's mechanical aspects, but it's animation needs a little bit of your ability.
another thing, I get it this made for 40-50 HUD FOV. Could you tell me what normal FOV you've used in your video? might be 70?
I love the Bizon too, it will be included with the next themed patch :).
The FOV I used in the video was 55-60. I think 55.

I am new to modding stalker. What is JSRS? I can't seem to find that information anywhere. Everyone knows what they're doing/talking about, so anyone new to this is kind of left trying to figure out what things stand for.

You can just delete the configs for guns you dont like and their mesh files.
Hey just wondering if you were aware of the weird see through hole ontop of the scorpion during reload animation? I thought it was just me but I just rewatched the video and it's in there too, just thought I'd mention! having a blast with this so far and can't wait for the next pack!
Yep. That's an issue with the default Anomaly skorpion not having the interior modelled. I decided to animate it anyway... who knows.. maybe someone with make an HD model pack some day.
ah right fair enough, I'd be happy with it just being blocked off by a bit of metal even if it's unimmersive so I might look into doing that actually, thanks for the reply :)

Mind you I know nothing about animation making, but I tried to pick only some of the files (weapons I know I'll be using) to make it easier on myself to merge it with other addons. During that I learned that animations of R870 are dependent on wpn_hand_kiparis_hud_animation.omf and Mosin animations are dependent on wpn_hand_walter99_hud_animation.omf. What the hell, man.
Good job on the animations tho. They look great, especially the shotguns are a giant improvement.
that's because in vanilla Anomaly files, some .omf's had shared animations for multiple weapons. walter99 for example had animation files for like 6 or 7 different guns. In previous Anomaly patch you could only replace these files, but with the new Anomaly patch it's possible to make separate .omf's. I will separate my anims into their own custom .omf files but maybe in the next major update.
