RealRTCW is an overhaul mod for critically acclaimed Wolfenstein classic. It features improved visuals, expanded arsenal, rebalanced gunplay and proper modern systems support!
Major update. Improved animations, new enemies, enhanced modding capabilities.
RealRTCW 4.0
New weapons:
-Browning MG (ported from ETSP)
-M7 Grenade Launcher (ported from ETSP)
-Airstrike Signal. (ported from ETSP) Airstrike behaviour was revised - now it has infinite ammo and recharge bar (35 sec). Basically works as in MP now.
-Gas Grenade (ported from ETSP). Save/load crash fixed. Added cough effect. Damage from gas does not push the inflicted entity.
New features:
-weap. files system from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Weapon registration, XYZ guns positions and all weapon parameters are now parsed out of the code. Anyone can tune weapons balance to their preference by simply editing .weap files with text editors.
-Automatic AI Attributes System - attributes for most AI's taken out of the .ai files and transferred to .aidefaults files. Features difficulty randomized values for certain attributes like aim_accuracy, starting_health, etc.

-Choose your arsenal. You can now choose between 3 types of arsenal you will use during campaign - Classic, RealRTCW, RealRTCW+ETSP.
-New enemies. Dogs, Priests, and X-Shepherds. Optional and can be disabled.
-Enemy Reinforce. Are you up for the challenge? Then increase count of your foes! Turned off by default.
-Rewards for Secret Areas. Just like in "Tides of War" port, now you will recieve a specific set of rewards for finding all secret areas in the level. This feature is optional and can be turned off in the menu.
-Multiple weapon view positions. You can choose between three weapon positions in the menu: RealRTCW, MoHAA-like and good ol Quake1 view.
-Damage falloff for bullets. SMGs and pistols will get their damage reduced with distance. Controlled by g_weaponfalloff CVAR. Turned off by default.

-Phantom weapon icons bug finally fixed (thanks to Tarator!)

Добрый день. Подскажите пожалуйста. Не могу понять, почему не запускается realrtcw. Ни с ярлыка, ни с exe файла при нажатии ничего не происходит. Зато сетевой режим запускается и работает отлично без ошибок. Куда копать?

Thanks for creating this mod. Unfortunately I cannot change the Brightness, when I restart the game the Brightness resets after a while and on my screen the mod is too dark. Sometimes I can't see the enemies or the interiors of rooms clearly, which is not fun :(

Also a little idea, if you plan on continuing this mod: Maybe you could add a shop system at the end (or start) of a level. So we actually have a practical use for all the Nazi Gold we find :D

It supports GOG. But game is OpenGL only.
Hi! On the latest release (realrtcw4.0.13.zip) the files qagame_sp_x86.dll and ui_sp_x86.dll are in the wrong folder ("root" instead of "main").

Hey. I encountered a Problem. I have My RTCW Platinum edition on CD, and the patch that allows me to play on Windows 10. I downloaded RealRTCW 4.0 adn tried to launch it said pak0.pk3 is missing, i checked the main folder and ther is pk3 file named pak0 in the "Main" folder. I don't really know what to do. Thanls in advance.

hey, great mod and absolutely love it, had a strange issue tho just wanted to run it by u - i installed it right on top of the older version lol probably not a good call but i am lazy lol and everything seems to work fine but if i dare to pick up the binoculars on the table in 1st mission it absolutely borks everything like i cant switch to any weapon but the luger and i can no longer reload lol
if i dont pick them up everything seems to work fine tho - up until the level in the crypt where the floor opens up in that room with the treasure and fire walls lol the floor just doesnt open. hmmm. any recommendations for how to go about fixing without reinstalling the whole game? i tried uninstalling the old 3 version with the included uninstaller and then reinstalling 4 again and no luck. any tips?

Played the first level, had no issues at all. But and the end of the 1st level the completion window pops up, then starts to load next level and CTD.
Version RealRTCW off Steam.
Tried both 32 & 64bit exe's, deleted RealRTCW folder in Documents.
Also left it at default settings.

Meanwhile, I congratulate the author for the amazing changes to the game. I played RTCW as a kid, now it's much more exciting. No errors I must say, except for one that I think is very important: I kill the final boss and we move on to the video sequence, after the last video there is a black screen for 30 seconds and boom, the game crashes. Restarted loading but it does the same thing. it's normal? If not, help me. The titles of what should appear and restart the game with rewards, right? Let me know, thank you very much.
