RealRTCW is an overhaul mod for critically acclaimed Wolfenstein classic. It features improved visuals, expanded arsenal, rebalanced gunplay and proper modern systems support!
Major update including further polishing, improved controller support and weapon fire modes
1. Download "realrtcw3.3.zip"
2.Unzip the "realrtcw3.3.zip" archive somewhere.
3. Open "!copy the content of this folder into rtcw root directory" folder which is located in unzipped archive.
4.Copy everything in this folder to your clean and legit installation of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Replace files if needed.
5. Launch RealRTCW.x64.exe to play the mod.

Good Morning, Just installed RealRTCW v3.3 along with the v3.3 ADDONS (on top of v3.2.4). Looked Good on Basic 23 level game, A night at the Opera and Age of Horror but when I got to Alone at War got this error "Server Shutdown (Server crashed: BG_AnimationIndexForString: unknown index 'idle_wounded' for model 'partisan': (models/players/partisan/wolfanim.script, line 84)" After going back over everything I even tried restoring the "Alone at War" from v3.2.4. Got the SAME error leading me to believe that there may be an error in "Alone at War" that RealRTCW v3.2.4 was "overlooking" but v3.3 is NOT overlooking the error.
Running Windows 10 pro, NVIDIA GTX1060 6gig. Has anyone else reported an issue?

Also installing 3.3 on top of the 3.2 was not the best idea. Better do a clean install.

Just downloaded and installed the new 3.3. Took a fresh install to get it working without error but WOW !!!!! So many improvements especially in graphics !!!!! Only thing I would say is I had to add the "missing" "seta r_intensity X" command in the config file and set to 1.5. Try as I might, just couldn't get a workable balance from addon to addon without doing that. NOTE that I run each addon from a .bat file so that intensity and gamma changes from addon to addon will not affect any of the others. But still have to start somewhere and found r_intensity "1.5" was a better starting point than the default of (I suspect) 1.0. Hope this helps anyone else desiring the very best intensity/gamma balance from addon to addon.

What cut down on the file size for the models between the last release and this one? Is it just a consequence of removing x86 support or were they completely rebuilt?
Some unused duplicate textures/models were removed to reduce the total size.

No-steam branch on GitHub should work with MacOS. You need to compile it by yourself though.

А я вот еще заметил что скажем в Flying Saucers нет нового оружия, а в Age of Horror есть. То есть не во всех аддонах.

Great work! But I can't run the mod (for the most part). When I start the game I see a black screen although I hear the menu music and if I move the mouse I hear when it hits the options. I tried to open ET single player and it did run and then I even managed to open a few addons from there, but for the most of the addons I encounter the same problem.

Thanks, worked like a charm. But game is still laggy, especially with some addons. Any idea how to improve it? My PC meets the minimum requirements for the mod, I doubt it's because of that since it can run much newer games.

There are no subtitles in the first mission, neither in the briefing room before the mission or during the mission from any of the NPC.
