You take the role of Nick Farrel, a technical engineer in Delta Base - the complex that competes with Black Mesa in various research fields including exploration of the borderworld Xen and weapon development. Due to accidental entanglement of two different experiments conducted at the same time the infamous resonance cascade affects the Delta Base as well, bringing the hostile alien lifeforms which infest the facility very soon.
Delta Particles. Full release version. "Half-Life: Delta" in the past.
hype!!!!
Hooray!
Наконец-то свершилось!!!
Новая версия просто супер, за то тебя благодарю за то что ты очень хорошо постарался.
Nice
I tried this out and it's pretty good! I ran it on Xash3D [The one from ReSrced] and in all honesty it was a nice experience. There were three issues however, Firstly Some Sprites showed black bars slightly or full. For some reason and I'm not sure if it's the skybox. The controllers energy balls when thrown would have black bars and the same happens to the muzzleflashes sometimes.
Two, for some reason this specific issue happens to the dark grey cloudy skyboxes during the es2a- chapters. But for some reason whenever I'm inside a room and look outside the sky turns pitch black. But when I step out into the open it's normal. This is weird but it doesn't ruin the game.
Now while two was a bit game breaking it wasn't as bad as the next issue which I'm yet to figure a solution to. For some reason the level won't bring me from es2a5 to es2a6. It crashes when I try to load into the next map es2a6. I'm going to see if I can load the map from the console. But I'm not sure if any other maps may crash.
Now overall I hope these aren't too big of issues to fix. This is a genuinely amazing experience so far and hopefully these bugs are possible to be fix. Big congrats on the game! I hope you have a Happy New Year!
Oh, before I forget. If need be I will provide screenshots of these occurences
I recommend using latest Xash3D FWGS, as we fixed some issues regarding this mod. Github.com
I didn't have tests on ReSrced. Only vanilla Xash and FWGS.
I also get crash from es2a5 to es2a6. and black sprites in those maps from the for me hovering hl2 cameras. So far a very nice mod though particurarly the new character and weapons.
if you all have a problem to run this mod..
just use Steam Lagacy verison.
i really hate 25th update verison.. that makes half-life mod kinda broken in client.dll
This a great way to begin the new year~ :D, Thanks!
well this Delta Particles really interesting.
some maps changed puzzle and mapping.
also storyline adjusted whole game for understand story.
Great mod for start playing half-life in 2024 :D

How is the difficulty on this Mod, If I play Half life on Medium, should I play on easy for this mod?
Mostly like vanilla hl.
I have played the demo and am currently playing the full version and it's a great mod so far but on the first chapter while crawling in the vents I get the ED_Alloc: no free edicts error. I tried to set it to a lower number by editing the liblist.gam file but it didn't work, and I don't really know what to do. Happy New Year by the way :).
On the contrary, try to set edicts to a higher number.
I just figured it out how to fix this problem. This problem occurred when we created mod shortcuts using default half life launcher. I then try using its mod launcher in the mod directory (named START) and no more free edict error for me. I hope this will help.
I tried doing both and they didn't work. Thanks for your help.
If you're trying to play with WON HL, it just does not support edicts' settings.
I installed the mod and after an hour of playing I haven't had any problems, I haven't had to activate steam legacy in the beta section.
Nice work 👍
can i ask what smg you based on in real life ?
Beretta M12 is the reference.
holy **** this is awesome....
One of the best HL1 mods I have ever played!
For others - you can get rid of the mouse acceleration with the following command line options:
-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd
This mod is great i loved the story and the new weapons.
I can't open the door in the experimental portal, the full charger
gives me 50%, the energy canister (?) adds 15%. So 65% total.
I'm guessing the door won't open without 100%?
The walkthroughs on youtube all show the wall charger giving you 100%.
so, that's it game over.
:-(
That' a pity! Did you try to load autosave? Was there the same result?
Could you describe that map in more detail? Sorry, I can't remember the map with "the energy canister".
Is there a possibility of having a port for Xash 3D on Android?
How to install???
Steamcommunity.com
I tried to install the mod via the zip file in the download link, and there were several files that were unable to be extracted due to being an unsupported file type. This is strange as I've never experienced this before. I am using Windows 11, sadly. Any idea why so?
They were several .tga files for loading backgrounds or something of that sort.
Don't use win11 default unpacker. It doesn't work properly.
Hm. What would you recommend?
Official 7-Zip Archiver. Sorry for that, but I have no idea when MS will repair own archiver..
Also, you could just wait a little bit. Soon I'll upload new v1.1 version of mod in .zip format.
I often come back to Delta Particle, this a solid campaign. Just a request:
The weapons in this mod feel sooo good, they have truly become my favorite HL1 guns.
Would it be possible to release a "Delta Particle Weapon Pack" to play with other HL1 mods?
Thanks in advance.
Weapons from my mod need modified game logic code (dll-libraries). This creates some difficulties. I mean that it's compatible only with mods without own dlls.
помогите а как скачать мод
А что случилось? Там большая красная кпока же)
Can somebody please help me ffs. I extracted everything to Steam/steamapps/common/Half-Life and have restarted Steam and it does not show in my Library.
Try to launch hl with parameter "-game delta_particles" or START.bat in the mod directory.
how do i fix the "ED_Alloc no edicts"?
Try to launch START.bat in the mod directory.
Wow, playing through this mod was a really great time. Great enemy placement, never too much or too little health and ammo, and very fun map design overall. The whole mod was very pleasing to the eye, the attention to detail was excellent all the way to the after-credits scene. Each level felt like a great amount of time and effort was put into making it feel like a real, lived-in place. The Xen corruption throughout the facility, and especially the Xen levels themselves felt alive.
At first I was worried about the amount of weapons, since lots of mods have so many that aren't worth using once they're outmatched by something better. Delta Particles was able to not only make each weapon fun to use, but actually stay useful throughout the whole mod.
While not especially narratively-focused, the game managed to stay fun with great level design, and encouraged exploration through resource collection and beautiful map making. The music was always fitting and never dragged on for too long. The new textures and sound effects were especially impressive, managing to stay faithful to the original Half-Life style while also increasing texture resolution.
It was really a good time playing through this mod, and I'm eager to see more from the people involved! Loved that shotgun.
I have a problem playing this mod with Xash3D. At the end of "Night Shift" the French woman is typing at a console to open a portal. I see relevant dialogue, then a flash as the portal powers up, then she just keeps on typing and typing and never stops, and the game fails to advance. I tried several versions of Xash3D including the one linked in an earlier post. Of those that will run the mod at all, they all exhibit the same problem.
Then I copied my mod folder and ran it under Steam HL and it worked. After getting past the stuck point, I copied it back to Xash3D and was able to continue.
Is there a fix/workaround (other than the awkward temporary switch to Steam) for this problem?
Can't reproduce this bug. I've just replayed that quest with the portal, but it works properly.
C'est la vie. Thanks for looking into it.
Linux support is always appreciated!
