Something's Brewing in the Abbey #120
Ale Abbey - In Beer we TrustCan't stop the progress! Ale Abbey's development in review.
Welcome to the Linux Gamers group. This group is governed by people interested in using the Linux operating system for gaming or game creation. Since quite some time Linux is no more a niche product hostile to advanced and demanding games. With big companies like IDSoftware releasing their games also for Linux the interest and acceptance of this system has grown over time. In comparison to other systems Linux offers a couple of unique features as well as particularities and troubles when it gets down to gaming. It's the goal of this club to promote and support Linux gaming.
Let the games begin :D

Hello,
I have a game that will be released on Linux (thx UE4), and it could do with more Greenlight votes to become a reality! It's a casual strategy called Garden Wars, aimed at people who want quick games and who maybe haven't played a strategy before (Linux needs more casual games!): Steamcommunity.com
Thank you!
Hi! All after I release my game, THE BODY CHANGER, I'm finally joining this group! Nice to see so many members but I hope for more in the future ;)
Does anyone know what is going on with the Desura Linux client? Are they dropping Linux support?
no its still exist
Desura itself doesn't exist anymore. It's now Desurium: Github.com . Ubuntu should have a package in the repository somewhere.
The client, Desura, does still exist as it's still required to download any games bought on the website, Desura, which also still exists.
Ok, thanks for pointing that out. I'll check out Desurium
Hello.
Any help with QuestRun (adobe air) please?
If anyone's looking for something for the kids to do on linux, or just something cute and wacky, you might want to check out MushRoom Bounce. Because who can resist cute, colorful, retro mushrooms?! Or perhaps more importantly, who has ever seen a mushroom with a six-pack? Wearing groucho glasses, or a cowboy hat? Or dressed for disco? (Yes, we have a disco level.)
^_^ You're gonna go look now, right? (Don't hit me. I'm new. XD )
hello all, just recently started using desura a bit more and found the group.
