The Damned Walkthrough
This is the walkthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty's The Damned, the fifth mission in the expansion. Without a clue of Songbird's location, Reed suggests the help of a former colleague and ex-protege, Alex. In this guide, you'll find all the ways you can infiltrate the Voodoo Boys' hideout, either through sheer force or by finding the door code for the side entrance, as well as whether or not you can save Slider.
The Damned Walkthrough
Go inside The Moth and sit by the bar; it doesn't matter what order of drink you choose. Reed will shortly ring your cellphone to provide more context about his relationship with Alex.
Once the bartender clears the bar, she will reveal herself as Alex. If you have at least Level 15 Reflex, you can disarm her here; otherwise, diffuse the situation before the dialogue option runs out.
Walk outside the bar and talk to Alex, brief her about the operation, and when you're done, head back inside and inform Reed that she's in.
After talking to Alex and Reed about Slider, go outside and talk to Johnny before leaving for Slider's hideout in Luxor High.
- There is a Militech Data Terminal by the street level of the building where Slider is located. Be sure to access the data before meeting up with Reed.
When walking into the building with Reed, you can choose to deal with The Voodoo Boys' guards head-on or find another entrance. However, if you have at least Body Level 15, you can talk to the guards without immediately triggering a fight.
- If you've completed The Voodoo Boys associated main job with Placide and Brigitte and spared them at the end, you can choose the corresponding dialogue option, and the guards will let you enter with no problem.
- If you haven't, you can choose to fight them by opting for the codeword option, or you can leave and find another way in.
Choice | Outcome |
---|---|
Slider - know he's inside. | The guard won't care and will tell you to leave once more. |
Signal Reed | Bushido. | You and Reed initiate combat and must fight your way inside. |
Got along with Brigitte; why would this be any different? | The guards will let you in with no problem. |
Fine, we're going. | You'll leave and must find a way inside somewhere else. |
The next room contains many enemies, but if you can find a way without hostility, you can safely loot some of the equipment there.
How to Find the Door Code
There is also a side entrance you can use that requires a door code. The door code is 230598; however, it can also be found by reading a Worker Memo at the top of the front scaffolding.
If you prefer to access the side entrance without the code, you can find the other door to the ventilation shaft by climbing the scaffolding to the right of the building's entrance.
Be wary of the first grating inside the shaft; it will open as soon as you step foot, causing you to fall to the room below you.
- You can scan it and then disarm the trapdoor.
Keep moving through the shaft until you get to the central hub room. The entrance to Slider's lair is downstairs; you'll need to disable the first two security cameras on the second floor before dropping down using the ladder.
From there, either use any stealth Cyberware such as the Optical Camo or wait for the enemies to move away from the tunnel entrance before running there.
Once you're inside, the door will close, and they won't be able to follow you. Go inside the room and talk to Slider. He will ask you to link your Relic with him, revealing that Songbird was able to communicate by using the Blackwall.
- There will be extra dialogue options if you have at least Level 15 Intelligence to dig deeper into the lore of the Blackwall.
Proceed with the conversation until you are prompted to confirm the data transfer with Slider. During the data transfer, you can briefly communicate with Songbird.
Can You Save Slider in The Damned
However, due to the damage netrunners can sustain when connecting to the Blackwall, Slider will have taken too much damage to survive.
- The damage Slider took from the data breach will spread to the central hub, causing the patrolling guards from before to die as well.
Several Voodoo Boys will enter the room to investigate what happened, and you must either fight them head-on or find a way to escape stealthily.
Once outside, follow Reed and speak to him about the plan to infiltrate Black Sapphire to finish the mission.
