Sorry, read this one many years back and loved, loved, loved it. But it was long enough ago that I do not feel confident enough in my collander-strength memory to post an actual review.

Lynne King After reading the blurb Will, this does indeed appear to be a fascinating book.

The only other "Colossus" that springs to mind for me is Henry Miller's The Colossus of Maroussi. Now I loved that book!

Will Byrnes I am working on Whitehead's latest and wanted to make sure I had included Colossus in my all-time fave list, as I will refer to it in the review. For this NYC native Colossus was an amazing love song to the city that I love too. A tiny book, but beautifully written.

Lynne King OK Will, I'll go with you here. It's now residing on my dreaded Kindle. I think the Kindle has to go.

Now when I will read this? Perhaps I'll read it when I finish Netsuke

Thanks anyway...

Will Byrnes Whenever you do, it will not take a long time. The book is VERY short, even though you will want to linger over the writing

Lynne King Now will I linger! That dépends.
