The author is witty and there are few quotes that I'll surely remember, but he has an annoying tendency to digress. Half of this book are digressions. I mean, I'm reading a book about music rivalries, why are there huge excerpts on Saturday Night Live or some american talk shows I either know or care about? Also the personal stories of the author aren't always as interesting as he thinks they are. My favourite chapters were Oasis vs. Blur, Prince vs. Michael Jackson, White Stripes vs. Black Keys, Taylos Swift vs. Kanye West and Biggie vs. Tupac. I was so so SO disappointed with Eric Clapton vs. Jimi Hendrix! The others weren't just interesting enough for me to remember them.
