[close] We are a group of people who are reading addicts. We read anything and everything and love nothing more than discussing what we have just read. We read around a different genre every month which is chosen and voted upon by our group members, so are the books we read. We also have monthly short stories, games, challenges, competitions and general discussions to keep you entertained when you aren't reading. We are an Adult only group, so please don't try and join unless you are adult

[close] We're a small group of ladies from far and wide that love all kinds of books. We read and discuss fantastic books relating to history from the classics to historical fiction. Our monthly book discussions include one formal read, moderator selected, and a few buddy reads, where members and moderators select a couple of books a month that they would like to read. The group has games, challenges, and giveaways as well as other topics relating to literature. Membership requires active participation. Happy Reading!

Norah Lofts, The Brittle Glass, 1942 One of our favorite authors is the wonderful Norah Lofts and many of her books are, to our great delight, being reprinted. NL wrote many novels, mostly historical, mostly with rural settings, all wonderfully crafted and intelligently and emotionally engaging. She also wrote memorable novelised histories of Anne Boleyn, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Katharine of Aragon, Richard Coeur de Lion and many others, in addition to several non fiction subjects. She also wrote under the pseudonyms Peter Curtis and Juliet Astley.
