Stellar Blade: All game endings Stellar Blade guide, tips

Stellar Blade has 3 endings - Return to the Colony, Price of Lost Memories and Creating New Memories. From the guide you will learn what are the requirements to unlock the endings and whether it is possible to view them all during one playthrough.

Last update: 10 May 2024

In the finale of Stellar Blade, you can watch 3 different endings. On this guide page, we focus on the requirements to unlock them. You will learn which actions and choices impact the appearance of various endings and whether it's possible to experience all endings without having to start the game again.

For obvious reasons, the page contains major plot spoilers, mainly regarding the final opponent's identity and the last crucial choice in the game's main storyline.

Place of choosing the ending

1 - Stellar Blade: All game endings - Basics - Stellar Blade Guide
  1. You will choose the ending at the very end of the adventure. In the last location, Nest, you must enter the large arena shown in the picture.
  2. You'll encounter Adam there and after the initial conversation with him, you will be given the option to choose 1 of 2 behavior options. Each of them leads to a separate ending. You won't be given a pre-made choice for each of the 3 endings - we have provided a more detailed description of this problem later on the page.

Return to the Colony ending

2 - Stellar Blade: All game endings - Basics - Stellar Blade Guide
  1. This ending is always available. During the last meeting at the Nest, you must refuse Adam's proposal and refrain from shaking his hand. This is the choice on the right.
  2. As part of this ending, you first have to defeat Adam (he isn't a full-fledged boss) and then the actual final boss - Elder Naytiba.

Making New Memories ending

3 - Stellar Blade: All game endings - Basics - Stellar Blade Guide
  1. This ending is the most problematic to unlock. Before you pass the first point of no return, you must fill Lily's progress bar to 100% - we have described this topic in more detail on the What does Lily's progress bar mean?.
  2. An extra visit to Eidos 9 will confirm that the relation bar with Lily has been completely filled, and this will occur before reaching Spire 4. Lily will ask for an extra visit during the conversation at the landing pad in Xion (the above picture).
4 - Stellar Blade: All game endings - Basics - Stellar Blade Guide
  1. Upon arriving at the arena in the Nest, in the game's final you must accept Adam's proposal and shake his hand. This is the choice on the left.
  2. As part of this ending, there is another final boss to defeat - the Providence mech. After winning the final clash and watching the following cutscenes, EVE has to battle regular enemies until the end credits are displayed.

Cost of Lost Memories ending

Each of the three endings, in addition to the confrontation with the final boss, also offers a conversation with Mother Sphere, but you don't have to worry about an extra fight with her as a boss - Stellar Blade: All game endings - Basics - Stellar Blade Guide
  1. This ending is easier to unlock than the aforementioned finale Making New Memories. In this case, you must refrain from filling Lily's progress bar to prevent it from reaching 100%, when you reach the first point of no return. You can achieve this by intentionally ignoring collectibles and side missions, as these activities can enhance your relationship with Lily.
  2. The characters will never make it to Eidos 9 if the bar isn't charged correctly, and they will instead travel from Xion to Spire 4, where the orbit elevator is located.
  3. Just like in the previous ending, during the final scene you have to accept Adam's proposal and shake his hand.

Each of the three endings, in addition to the confrontation with the final boss, also offers a conversation with Mother Sphere, but you don't have to worry about an extra fight with her as a boss. None of the endings allow you to continue exploring the game world, because Stellar Blade doesn't have the endgame.

Is it possible to see all endings within 1 playthrough?

A way to bypass these restrictions is to make a backup of saves in the cloud (ideally shortly before reaching the point of no return) and then turning off the automatic uploading of further saves to the cloud - Stellar Blade: All game endings - Basics - Stellar Blade Guide
  1. You can experience up to 2 out of 3 endings in one playthrough of the game. After reaching the location with Adam and making an important decision, defeat the final boss of a given ending and wait for the return to the main menu.
  2. After that, load the latest game save so that Eve can return to the last camp in the Nest (the image above). You have the opportunity to reach the final arena again and behave differently when meeting Adam.
  3. The last ending is available to watch after replaying the game. We suggest discovering as many things as possible during the first playthrough, filling Lily's progress bar to 100%, and unlocking the ending Making New Memories. To prevent Lily's bar from gradually recharging, avoid optional items when playing NG+ again. This will allow you to easily watch the ending of Cost of Lost Memories.

A way to bypass these restrictions is to make a backup of saves in the cloud (ideally shortly before reaching the point of no return) and then turning off the automatic uploading of further saves to the cloud. You can only do this if you have an active PS subscription, as Sony doesn't permit transferring PS5 game saves to a USB device.
