Flax is found specifically in Fuling Villages within the Plains biome.

Availability[]

  • Upon entering a Fuling Village, check the area surrounding the dwellings for a small patch of cultivated land. This is where 15-20 planted flax can be found ready to harvest for 2 Flax each. However, it's more common to find Barley in these spots, so it may be necessary to search multiple villages.
  • Flax can be grown by replanting it with a Cultivator. Despite being able to be planted anywhere with cultivated ground, it can only be grown in the Plains biome.
  • It takes between 4000s and 5000s (between 66m40s and 83m20s, or about 2.22-2.78 in-game days) for it to fully grow.

Usage[]

Notes[]

  • Fully grown Flax will be harvested when damaged by weapons. AoE attacks, such as those of the Stagbreaker, Iron sledge, or Atgeir special attack, are very effective for fast harvesting. No Flax is lost with this method when compared to harvesting it by hand.
  • Flax is known to be rarer than Barley. It is recommended to replant some in a safe space as soon as you find it.
