Wrong items on steam account

I've linked my steam account to EA but when I load up apex on steam it has a low level and no items. Where as if I load apex up on the EA Launcher I have my 223 level account and all the items. If anyone knows a way I could use steam but still keep all my stuff, help would be appreciated. I have gotten the merge message and that's how I can play with my xbox account on pc but only on the EA launcher not STEAM.
@GivemeHeirloompwThis looks like a bug.
When Steam first came out, I had all my items across both EA App/Origin and Steam. The only issues were my friends list not being the same and any items gifted through Steam, (Like the Legend Editions when they were still a thing), it required me to login on Steam to get those items.
You could try logging into Steam through Apex itself, (through the EA app), by going to your friends list and clicking on "link steam account" in the bottom left. If that doesn't work, contact EA at help.ea
Turns out I'm logged out of EA on the steam account and now its telling me I'm already connected to the account I'm using. If you get what I just said please send me help.
