Earlier in the year the sixth formers went to London to receive an award from the National Enterprise Board Partnership Network (NEBPN) for their talent spotting business, The Launch Company.

Science for Life (S4L), which is approved by the Government's Science Year and has been developed by science company Bayer plc and the National Education Business Partnership Network (NEBPN), is open to teams of up to four from post-16 science courses throughout Britain and Ireland.

Five sixth formers from North Tyneside went to an awards ceremony in London to receive the National Enterprise Board Partnership Network (NEBPN) enterprise award for their business, The Launch Company.
