I Played it, and bosses are really hard. REALLY HARD for me. Can't even beat two or a run n' gun. The game is supposed to be a rage game, but I Don't like those types of games, since they're very hard.
This is the start of the trilogy, it can't be given a bad rating, it's fun and good. I Recommend playing it if you can!
If you wanna hear my in-depth review, here it is:
The maps have good detail with pixels being added to improve it. Ambient Unhuntables is what makes this game specifically unique, I Have played ALOT of hunting games, and they never have ambient dinosaurs, making the game feel empty and alone, with ambients in the carnivores trilogy, the game feels more comfortable and fun to play, and chasing a moschops will never get old to me.
Tho this game uses ranks and not points to see what weapon you can have, who you can hunt and other thing, which doesn't give this a solid 10, this also includes the small selection of weapons and dinosaurs to hunt from, that's one thing that makes carnivores 2 better. For such a time, realism was very good for the game, mortal zones... precison, name whatever you want. Now, for my final rating.
I'm leaving this at a solid 9.
I Wonder why people say the alphas are better? I mean final is better, but alphas are still somewhat good.
Works as described! It feels like it adds a bit more challenge to the game.

There are visual upgrades for example the super shotgun has a reload animation now... NICE, the gameplay also feels better than the rerelease of DOOM 64 since this is built on DOOM 2, the extra content is also pretty dope.

Amazing! Even tho very old, it's a perfect hunting experience, other than those newer versions with barely anything to hunt. And the amount of mods this game has will make the game always fun and never old.
Great new mod
Thanks to every map author for their efforts, TWHL Tower Source brought me many surprises. My favorite level is Fallen Angel (Robot lady, take me away, I like you so much;_;). However, there are still some works that don't seem up to par, but overall, the flaws do not overshadow the strengths. I really hope the modding community for the Source engine can become active again. Maybe TWHL Tower Source is a good start. Overall, I'm super satisfied :)
