Evening all. I'm an ESDF player instead of WASD. Been playing like that since the Quake days, and I was taught to type so my hand naturally rests on those keys. Anyways, I looked through all the settings and can't seem to find a way to remap the keys. I'd like:
I've remapped my forward/back and left/right sidesteps in the normal keybind menu. Appreciate any assistance you can provide! Thanks! |

So you have remapped your WASD movement keys to ESDF and you need to remap the E) S) D) F) menu shortcuts to other keys to prevent conflicts, right ? |

I've remapped the menu shortcuts I could. I am also using WASD Menu Controls from lStewieAI, So the pipboy controls are still bound to WASD as is the map panning. I was hoping it would use the keybinds in the settings, but it does not. His mod mentions that it requires a UI like VUI+ to function. So I'm not sure which mod I would need to change. If it's all on his end that's cool, just helps me track down where I need to focus on. I've asked on his forum page as well. |

There's an option to use a WASD-compatible remapping during installation. This is what you need. BTW, I thought WASD was older than ESDF because I remeber using WASXD in Ultima Underworld. |
