Hello everyone! This upload is the release of the next version, version 1.88.731 Full! It fixes some critical issues, that were introduces in 1.88.73 and makes some balance changes! 4. Run the 1.88.731 installer.

the imperial guard need to learn to hate there wounds and they will be fine hatered is the gift of god emperor use it.

1. What an amazing mod you and your team has created. It's utterly epic, in all sense of the word.
2. Two small bugs I've found in playing a fresh install of the latest release of UA, those being:
A. The glowing skulls that depict the Space Marines infantry upgrades via the Armory (the green icons that upgrade marines stats and damage) are displaced on Tactical Marines and it seems to place the skull at their feet. All other marines have the skull correctly located on their shoulder pads.
B. Gaunts (not entirely sure which exact Gaunt unit causes it), melee attack sound effect seems to bug out and play very loudly and can be heard from off screen. Seems to happen only during an engagement with Gaunts, I suspect the melee gaunts weapon sfx is the culprit (could be wrong).
Other than these minor annoyances, the mod is flawless, and would (and have) recommend it to everyone I know who enjoys 40k!
i am having an issue with he mod certain maps are crashing i followed the tutorial video to the letter and it is still crashing with certain maps
hi, any chance of including a torrent download? im experiencing download speeds of 400kb/s, which then drops to 0 after a few minutes. mirrors are at roughly 20% capacity at the time. just want a more reliable download. im even happy to seed it. im in a country with fiberoptic too.
i keep dropping from the game on occasion when i host ? not sure why it lets me play perfectly fine sometimes
Does anyone know a way to have 2 soulstorm apps in one device, so I can play with my favorite version of UA on 1 app and have the latest version on another app?
You should be able to just rename the "UltimateApocalypse_THB" folder containing your "favorite" version of UA
and the UltimateApocalypse_THB.module file in your Soulstorm directory to whatever you want (has to match obviously) then install the latest version of UA after. Then just use the mod manager to select the version you wish to play.
Hey Guys, I love your mod very much but this latest iteration is almost unplayable online for me and my friends. We were trying to reinstal soulstorm and your mod but we have many problems with disconnections and sync-errors. It is not a problem with our desktops or internet for sure. We also have dow mod manger and unlocked LAA but still the same problems. We are disconnected in the loading, in the middle of the game, sometimes after 5 minutes and sometimes after 1 hour. Very frustrating. Still I hope you will find solution for that. Take care and good luck :)

I have a problem with one part of the mod. I have reinstalled the game with this mod and all thing needed but trying out the IG I could not pick a tech tree, techpriests had only half of the building they could build and there is lack of FreeUI in chaos deamons mod in manager.

Hmm okay, but if you build more than 1 Nuclear center, is there any bonus (like 10-20 % cooldown reduction / center) ??
I have downloaded this twice and it will not show in my game files. If I go to browse files on the UA installer there is a folder in the Steam-Steamapps-common- Dawn of War: Soulstorm with UA as the title, but if I go to the file it self nothing is there.
Any clues what I am doing wrong?

Ive read online it has to do with not enough RAM being allocated for the game. But im at the point where this mod basically onlyt works 1v1, and 90% of the maps crash. :(
Help! When I start the installation executable it only goes to 27% and then just closes itself! I already tried downloading the mod twice, it doesn't work...
Mod is unplayable with this update.
I only play skirmish against AI, cannot speak for multiplayer.
Game crashes 100% of the time with more than 4 AI players regardless of map or faction, when playing with less than 4 AI players certain chance the game will crash to desktop towards the later stages of the game, out of the roughly 10 games I've actually managed to play, not a single one has managed to run smoothly without crashing to desktop.
I've had to revert to downloading a later version and running that, not one problem encountered.

You haven’t done anything. On the contrary, they ruined everything. The game began to fly out much more often. For some reason, you have reduced the number of walls and turrets, although no one asked you to do this. You still did not make hollow shields on the titans Eldar and Dark Eldar (I mean flying). Also, shields on Eldar equipment were not made, although there is animation. Also, a computer for Eldar builds second-level turrets, and the player cannot build them. Eldar needs to be given the opportunity to build walls. Dark Eldar Titan (Titan of Agony) must be placed in the settings tab (Legio Titanicus). The ability to shoot the Corrupted Castle could be restored to chaos, as it was in version 1.72.7. Demons need to make walls. The computer for the Imperial Guard is constantly creating your new trucks in industrial quantities, which makes it difficult to play. The Commander's Titan Reaver is placed in the Stormlord tank and can be dropped from the Mars Center - at least it looks strange. Titan Emperor needs rebalancing, too much firing range, too high damage. In the form in which it is about now, it goes not to the 5th level of development, but to the 6th. The Battle Sisters, as they did not develop, do not develop further. The computer does not play normally for them. Tyranids are the most unbalanced race in the game. They are just disgusting - they have weak infantry, weak equipment, rather weak heroes. The Tyranids can only be played by 3 divisions: Lord of the swarm, Uberfex and Hierophant Titan. They need to pull up infantry and equipment, otherwise they have to play in three divisions. I will not say that not all level 5 titans are introduced, to each race. Correct at least what I described here, because I respect your project and cherish it, but you have not done anything in the last year, I remain the previous version of the mod.
When I play Space Marines and when they move there's a loud footsteps that can't be avoided because it's so annoying, it has like chirping sound footsteps, is there a way to fix this or it's from the mod.
I cannot get into a multiplayer match with friends. Is there a common thing we could have missed we followed the installation video?
So I've run into an issue of the game saying that taking a dump has failed, and another game where it says the temp folder has run out of space. The first time was for a 8 player map, then in the middle of match of 6 players. What does this mean?
Is there anyway to play the base game of soulstorm with the mod cause I would love to play the campaign with this mod but don't know if its possible or not a thing

this is a well made mod. it is even better then the game itself. i really like it. i was wondering if the developers could add in some game settings like :
1.constant price of the power generators. just so the power generators remain the same
throughout the game no matter how much you built them for ll the races.
2.a setting to remove the number of maximum generators so we can get as many
generators as we want for all the races.
oh and if you guys could tweak the Necrons by:
1.add a separate build queue for the Necron monolith when it is upgrading because it
takes forever to upgrade and i would very much like to continue producing new squads
while the monolith is upgrading.
2.maybe make the immortal available after the summoning core is built because i find it difficult to fight vehicles with no anti vehicle unit early on .

You have to rush to take over the control points in the beginning. The more resources the AI has, the more aggressive it becomes. The AI also doesn't like to attack fortified positions unless it is 90% certain that it can win. So 1. rush control points and 2. fortify them. Rushing CPs is especially easy with Necrons since scarabs are free.
