Witcher Kings is a total conversion mod for Crusader Kings 2 set in the rich fantasy world of The Witcher.
Play a key part in the politics of the Continent, and determine its future as you see fit. Engage in warfare and acts of intrigue to fulfill your ambitions in this lore-rich world. Associate or do battle with some of your favorite characters from the series. If you love the Witcher series and enjoy Crusader Kings 2, then without further ado, we present this mod to you. I work for the mod "Witcher Kings" with last update of this mod : 0.11.0
Here are some small works of my project for example :
- The Thyssen, var Emreis, de Lyria, de Rivia, Dezmoden, Radowidow, Edinorog (Viduking), Baldwining, Skellig clans ETC families have rediscovered their origins (Viduka for Edinorog for example)
- The great historical events like the rebellion of Falka, Night of the knives and the torches, the war of Emblonia, war of 6 and 7 years, war of hunger, Nilfgaardian Usurper ETC are now "in the World of mod"
- I corrected the many date errors in the title histories- Geralt has his coat of arms and even a "son" (for my personal story for play with house "of the White Wolf" don't worry he won't be in the mod)Note : the coat of arms was adapted to the mod by the talented "Annou".
-I have corrected a HUGE number of details to make the dates of such an event match the dates of such a King for example.
- There are many other things but I am waiting to see if that interests you because the details of the modifications would be VERY long.

why bother adding another bookmark when the first one is not even completed
Could you give some more constructive feedback and explain what you think is missing to complete it ?
events? societies? book lore? half of the characters from the books are dead by W2-W3. Why Crach is leader of skellige, when it is Bran? Wrong government type in skellige, king selected via moot. Major houses of skellige should have more land. Adding unique construction chains to each nation would be a great idea too.
Will there be an option to colonise the wilderness or is it already in place?
Not yet, but it's planned
Will HF battlefield event work in this mod? One thats lacking is the character dueling in this mod.
They should (scripts are active and should trigger), however I couldn't test, let me know if you see an issue.

Could you add/update the portraits for the characters from Lyria and Rivia ? I think the game Thronebreaker : The Witcher Tales had some pretty nice art and character design.
Its crashing for me as soon as I try to begin a new game. Is this because its incompatible with the latest CK2? Thanks
Exactly, version 0.9.1 will only work with CK2 2.8.3.x, so you need to rollback to that version via Steam Beta tab.
I've started working on compatibility with Holy Fury 3.0 patch.
