The Wildcat Potion mod for The Witcher

The modification introduces the Wildcat potion to "The Witcher". The potion significantly increases vitality regeneration (it is much stronger than the Swallow potion) and provides new tactical choices. You may already be familiar with the potion if you have played my adventure "Entrapped" before, though the potion has been modified a bit.

You have to talk to the booksellers (called antiquaries) in Chapter One, Two or Three or talk to Julian in Chapter Four to get the recipe for the potion. Besides, a new shop will be unlocked at the dentist's after completing the quest "Won't Hurt a Bit".

You can create rubedo, nigredo and albedo potions. The Wildcat is a five ingredient potion created with the help of a high quality base.

The modification is compatible with saved games.
It's not fully compatible with FCR mod.
To maintain compatibility with FCR, you have to manually remove .TLK files from the "wildcat" folder in The Witcher/Data folder (the name/descriptions of The Wildcat potion will disappear from the Alchemy panel and from the ring around the medallion).

The Witcher Enhanced Edition and the patch 1.4 or 1.5 are required to play the mod. To install the mod double click the setup file TheWildcatPotion.exe
