Set in both the heart and outside of City 17, "The Citizen Returns" contains the final chapters of our citizen's story, as well as an updated version of Part II. The story takes place shortly after a failed assassination attempt on Dr. Breen leads to the first ever use of the Overwatch Broadcast system by The Resistance, represented by former garage owner Larry Soderstrom. The Combine forces decide to capture him and try to use his public repentance and execution as a means to appease the emergent rebellion. The Citizens of City 17 however have other ideas in mind. Larry is now a symbol for the rebellion and a key asset in a bigger plot to deal a fatal blow to the Combine and its grip on humankind...

Does the updated version of part 2 also include part 1, just like the original part 2?
The Citizen Part II didn't include the maps from The Citizen (except a little chunk of map in the intro).
The Citizen Returns begins exactly where The Citizen Part II began. That is, after the train incident that ended The Citizen.
I played through this mod a while ago, and overall, I think it's a great mod and hope more people get to play it.
But I've heard that this mod has 2 endings. I've only got the ending where the citizen is listening to a broadcast about the Citadel/Uprising of City 17; and the citizen is on a beach with the Brother, the Vortigaunt and Sarah.
Can someone please tell me how to get the other ending/s, if it exists at all?
"You're not helping us by playing around in the water, soldier!" I've heard this about 25 times now, because I can't get thru the vent in the water. I can enter it vertically, but something is stopping me from continuing down into the horizontal part of the vent :(
Press crouch or jump when you're in the vent. One of them should work.

I'm so glad this mod was revived. It's clearly one of the best about HL2 universe along with Ravenholm (RIP Eye of the Storm) and Dangerous World.
Ignoring a few bugs here and there this is a very nice mod. But I have a question, is this the end or is there a plan to continue it?

Wow, am I really going to be called "soldier" the entire time? I'm 20 minutes into it and it's already grating on my nerves.....
Yes. Only four characters call the player soldier.
-One of them you only see in the second and third map.
-One only shows up in the fourth map (the Odessa-type guy).
-The 'commander' only talks to the player in the 9th map.
-As for Larry, you see more of him, and he does refer to the player as soldier. Sorry if it's annoying.
Sorry, didn't mean to sound mean, I like the mod a lot! I was caught in the "3 out of 4 AI's" after the hockey rink and just got a bit peevish.... good job on this!!
