Set in both the heart and outside of City 17, "The Citizen Returns" contains the final chapters of our citizen's story, as well as an updated version of Part II. The story takes place shortly after a failed assassination attempt on Dr. Breen leads to the first ever use of the Overwatch Broadcast system by The Resistance, represented by former garage owner Larry Soderstrom. The Combine forces decide to capture him and try to use his public repentance and execution as a means to appease the emergent rebellion. The Citizens of City 17 however have other ideas in mind. Larry is now a symbol for the rebellion and a key asset in a bigger plot to deal a fatal blow to the Combine and its grip on humankind...

This played brilliantly with no issues and the improvements to The Citizen 2 where greatly appreciated. Thanks to all involved. The wait was worth it!
I seem to be stuck ...when I have to get into the cart. After I get in the cart starts moving moving and the screen goes yellow and reloads again.
What am I missing ?
You didn't make it in time to safety. Go back to the autosave where the radiation doors open and Sarah escapes.
You have to be further away from the explosion to survive it. If you saved it before getting in the cart with too much of a delay, you'll be doomed in all your attempts.
Seems to run under OSX Also. The only thing i dont understand:
After the second wake up i directly have a shotgun but no crosshair, after going to the rack and taking al the guns suddenly i have the croisshair and still the shutgun? Is this your intention?
No. The trigger_weapon_strip entity is somehow bugged and this can happen sometimes. We did re-check the entity setups and nothing was out of place.
It's never happened to me even though I've been through that map transition... quite a few times :) But as I said you're not the first to report this.
Has my game been glitched?
At the execution level, I chose the sniping path but it seems no matter what I do, I get the message saying "Larry was killed" I also tried to do the undercover mission and I still can't find a way to rescue Larry, am I missing something?
Just realized the person I was trying to save wasn't larry, sorry. I saved him now
That was great! I have a question though, why is Part II packed in but not Part I? Does Part I still work?
Part I might work somewhat with some fixes to the gameinfo.txt, but I'm not sure. Other problems are:
-The maps themselves are almost 7 years old and are a noticeable step below these in quality. Layouts, lighting, time it takes to run through them etc.
-Some of the same models have different skins in each mod.
-The engine updates since it was released cause severe problems in the maps (they do so in Part II and Returns, but less), such as disappearing geometry.
Basically, it would be a tremendous effort to put those 16 maps up to date again.
