Star Wars: Battlefront II Saga Edition is a modification that improves the entire game, features 2 eras, 60+ playable units, 40+ heroes, 50+ vehicles, 15 game modes and 18 converted maps.
A neat utility designed for simple management of the modification, where you can access useful guides and apply new settings including AI heroes or gameplay adjustments.
Game modes
15 game modes, totally playable. You can play well-known classic modes along with several new ones.
Classic modes: Conquest, 1-Flag CTF, 2-Flag CTF, XL Deathmatch and Space Assault.
Uber Conquest - The extended version of the Conquest with 64 units per team. Available for all ground maps.
Hero Assault - Heroes and villains clash sabers and exchange fire in the ultimate duel of the fates. In Saga Edition this game mode is split into 2 eras and has one new feature. When a character kills the opponent, his health regenerates on 20% of its maximum value.
Hero Hunt - Killing one of the opposing heroes will count towards the team's total score. The team with the most points at the end of the match will win.
Hero CTF - Classic CTF mode where you playing as heroes or villains instead of infantry units.
Order 66 - Classic Team Deatmatch between clones and jedi.
Supremacy - Basically it is a classic Conquest mode with 2 main changes. First, after the map starts, two warring factions(Empire and Alliance) have only one captured CP for each team. Second, other CPs on the map are captured by the third sides(Battle Droids and Clone Troopers). So, every side needs to destroy 3 opposite factions.
Cross-era game modes - Clash together every of 4 available factions in brand new game modes. 1. 501st vs Clones - The Galactic Empire in 501st armor skins against The Grand Army of the Republic; 2. Empire vs Separatists - The Galactic Empire against The Separatist Droid Army; 3. Alliance vs Republic - The Alliance to Restore the Republic against The Grand Army of the Republic; 4. Rebels vs Droids - The Alliance to Restore the Republic against The Separatist Droid Army.

I'm getting crashes in Galactic Conquest. Especially whenever the Naboo plains map gets loaded in. The moment I hop on the Naboo starfighter I crash to desktop.
Is there a way to transfer your profile from the original version to preserve awards? Looked back a ways and couldn't find an answer
Just copy files from {PathToGame}\GameData\SaveGames to {PathToGame}\SagaEdition\SaveGames.

Which side did you play? And what bonus you and ai activated?
looks like I fixed it after re-installing the mod.
@Spiret I found another issue, whenever I use the naboo starfighter in naboo plains I get crashes instantly.

What about award-pistol/rifle/marksman/flechette? Are they still available?
yes, you can enable and disable it from the launcher.
I enabled it in launcher and as I see it applies only to player buffs such as stamina regeneration and others but not to the weapons awards.
