My very first mod of all time. Soundscapes Of Cosmic Horror is a Doom 1/Doom 2 mod which turns the fast paced Heavy/Thrash Metal soundtrack of the game into a much slower paced Ambient Horror soundtrack. All 23 tracks for Doom 1 are now complete, and it is also fully compatible with Doom 2. I have had good results listening to it through a good pair of headphones. My regular laptop speakers leave much to be desired in the bass section. To those that do end up playing my mod, I hope that you all enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed making it.

Alright, so I am officially done with the second episode, and am about to start working on the third episode.
Just a quick update. I am about halfway done with recording all the music for the second episode.

I have started to experiment with the recording process of E2M1. This process will be a little bit different from the recording process for the entire first episode. While I still want the songs to sound ominous, I am also trying to introduce distortion into this entire episode. I believe this will make it sound more extreme.
I need to figure out a way so that the songs don't sound like a thick wall of sound, but rather dissonant harmonies and melodies with just enough distortion so that it sounds a step above than everything that was presented in episode 1.
Just a quick update. I never expected this mod to get more than 50 downloads, but since we are practically at 75, I will start working on the music for episodes 2 and 3.
