Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

I NEED HELP I USE first decade when i install the mod it always says access to path is denied can someone help me
So got a question, I just built a gaming computer brand new running windows 10 home. I've downloaded ROTC and it's sister mod Shockwave, installed in right folders (Origins based Generals ZH) but everytime after restarting the computer the short cut and launched app disappears or an error message pops up saying it can run on this computer. My laptop with the same windows 10 installed and plays both mods fantastically. Now I got this. Please help!!!

hello do I need to install 1.801 and 1.802 patch to play this mod
im trying to figure out what i did wrong because I don't see the mod..
all i see is a few files and the installer app when i go through the steps it doesn't download and i don't see the actually mod application
i tried downloading it over and over and i get everything in the download except the actual mod application. I go to my desktop and get a shortcut but when i click it says it might have been removed moved or deleted would you like to delete the shortcut....how come i get everything in a mod download except the mod....i have the mod SAMP for San Andreas on my laptop and i did that first try no problems so it's not like I'm not following directions but for some reason i get everything in the mod download but the mod itself any way i can fix that?

This game needs improvements, I did not like any team except Russia, where the bias is large and relatively far from reality and cause me dizziness.
Groups should be like Russia, with the specificity of arms manufacturers, With fewer commands and complications and more reality like CWC mod and shockwave

How do I switch back to the regular game from the mod?

I installed the game in the zero hour folder but every time i launch the mod it leads me to the EA launcher for ultimate collection and when i pick zero hour from it the base game launches and the mod isn't loaded in. Any help?
I had that problem too but I figured it out.
When you install the mod and it asks you to select the folder, it might default to something like this:
D:\Program Files\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour
However, you will want to install the mod to the folder for Zero Hour inside that one, like this:
D:\Program Files\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour
Then, once you launch the mod it will still open the EA launcher, but once you launch Zero Hour the Rise of the Reds will open. The downside is that installing the mod seems to totally overwrite Zero Hour, so you can't do campaign missions or use the speciality factions like GLA toxin general anymore. I think it's supposed to be this way though.
Hi, is the mod ROTR 1.86 only works if the version of my ZH is patch to 1.04? My ZH version is 1.00? I've already have the the ROTR 1.85 installed in my pc and it wokrs fine. Do I need to patch may ZH to 1.04 to install the 1.86? thank you.

For those who would like to play in windowed mode or origin despite ROTR teams weird ideas, here is how: Run bibbers fixed launchers with an installed game (https://bibber.eu/downloads/cnc-ultimate-collection-launchers/), then go to game properties in origin, add -win -xres 1920 -yres 1080 or whatever other resolution you desire, open the ROTR launcher but start the game normally with the launcher open. This will start ROTR in windowed mode.
To the entire ROTR team, please stop dicking over Origin users and add in windowed support.

hey so im new to this mod and im trying to get it to work. i've installed v1.85 and 1.86 but when i launch the game off the ROTR launcher or the .exe in the file folder the game launches in origin (like i understand its supposed to.) however i do not have the new factions or the splash screen. I have tried reading back in the forum but i cant seem to find my solution if anyone knows how i can fix this or where specifically i need to go to find the answer to my question id really appreciate it.

Well the mod but I got an error while playing. I was playing when suddenly the game closes and shows me an error window called "technical difficulties" telling me that I found a serious error. That came out for the first time but I don't know if that error window will reappear.

I'm getting "technical difficulties" error, the same one when I installed C&C-ZH, which I fixed by changing graphics settings in the documents folder. My question is where can I change graphics settings for the mod before I launch the game?

Hello! I am new to the mod world! Been playing ZH since I was a kid but quarantine brought me back into it! I don't have origin would I need to purchase off origin? I already have ZH patched 1.04. So how would installation work for people without origin? I have an error when I installed 1.85 and 1.86 in the ZH folder
