Rebalance and bugfix of the original without major changes
All-in-one installer which can be installed directly onto Gothic 1. Contains English, German & Polish versions.
Changes from 1.8:
Scripts:
- The elixir of healing now has the correct model.
- Burned-out torches cannot be used anymore.
- Moved one of the wolves near Aidan to make Mordrag dying less likely.
- You can no longer lure Kalom into lava.
- Your movement is now completely blocked for a short moment after Kalom's teleportation.
- There are now a couple of guard corpses at the Free Mine.
- You no longer keep moving backwards when under the effect of a fear or control spell.
- Obsolete dialogues are no longer available at Gorn at the monastery ruin. (You could send him back to the New Camp this way.)
- Milten should now always teleport away from the ore heap.
- Baal Tondral now also talks to you at night, if you bring Dusty to him.
- Baal Namib now sells the novice armor once you have brought back the focus instead of in chapter 3.
- Fixed a rare bug, which made NPCs permanently "angry" instead of "hostile" and prevented them from attacking the hero.
- You can no longer pickpocket "fake" items, which exist only for display in item interactions.
- Fixed a bug that you temporarily couldn't buy Whistler's Sword from Fisk after trading with him.
- Added options to set dynamic HP bar hiding, interface scaling and Gothic 2 controls to the settings menu.
- Reduced earthquake effect in the end fight.
- Grim now correctly chooses between "I ..." and "We ..." after having lured the player.
- Corrected several errors in the English and Polish translations and translated two untranslated lines.
- Corrected several typos in the German text.
Engine:
- Fixed NPCs not reacting when hit by an attack from far away in free aim mode.
- You no longer jump upwards in mid-air when hit by an enemy.
- Replaced the FPS limiter with a new one, which can be configured in the game settings.
Worlds:
- The skeletons in the mountain fort now spawn, when you pull the lever, as they tended to aggro before and clip through the wall.
- Thanks to the tool zSlang more objects now have the correct collision setting.
- Removed or lowered some items floating in the void above the game world in the Sleeper's Temple.
- Filled an empty chest in the monastery ruin.
Balance:
- Dexterity is now added to the damage of ranged weapons as strength is added to the damage of melee weapons. Weapons, monster protections and armors have been adjusted.
- The Healing spell now heals 5% of total health (but a minimum of 10) per mana.
- Reduced the casting time of Wave of Death and Control. Increased the damage of Wave of Death.
Textures:
- Included m0a9r1c1el's font fix and fixed its lack of apostrophs.
