Portal Remastered is a mod that attempts to remaster the original portal in the portal 2 engine. The models, textures and lighting have all been updated to be more in line with the style of portal 2 while making sure the levels still retain somewhat of a Portal 1 vibe.

After over a year of waiting, update 0.4 is here and it contains the first part of the escape (from test chamber 19 to just past where you re-enter test chamber 9). While Escape Part 1 is very close to completion, it's still subject to change with further updates so let me know your thoughts. This update also includes bug fixes and lighting tweaks for the previous Test Chambers.

No, I'm just currently unable to work on the mod since I don't have my computer with me. I should be able to work on it again by early september. The first part of the escape is very close to completion so it won't take long to finish once I'm able to.

You think you could either replace or add a seperate file changing Test Chamber 01 to be more like Portal 2's Test Chamber 01?

I updated the screenshots for Test Chamber 19 and part of the escape. Sorry for the lack of screenshots/updates; I'm graduating soon so I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on the mod but I'll probably be able to get the first part of the escape done during the summer.
developers please do some details, make lighting, fill observation rooms, start working on the Portal 2 "community edition" engine, if you ask they will give it to you, it's really easier to work on it and you can get it they will approve it
I'm making a lot of progress with the first part of the escape (about halfway there). I'll start to post screenshots soon as the ones I've already posted of the first part of the escape are quite outdated. Escape parts 2-4 are going to take me a lot more time tho.
