This difficulty based mod makes gunfights last longer, makes enemies more aggressive and skips most of the story-centered (non-action) missions and sequences. Included is an optional extra challenge, where you get to fight the hardest and toughest enemies starting from the first level.

Do you plan to release a version of this mod without the gameplay changes and just the skips?
Untamed Action v1.1 released, now including the part where the Police Station gets attacked and the Mona levels. Overall this version is more polished and challenging.
I made a new difficulty based action mod with some similar ideas but better and just less needlessly complex. It's close enough in spirit so I just use the same mod page but it's not an update to the original, which is not supported anymore btw tho it's probably functional.
This is the first mod I know of which actually skips all the dragging sections and graphic novels if you want to play just for the action sequences. I also skipped Mona levels altogether, I just don't think it would be fun in the context of this mod to keep shooting/sniping endlessly at the enemies while escorting Max.
I had this error, "Exception in engineInit:X_SharedDB: Weapons "Empty" and "Empty" had same ID" What is going wrong?
Kind of hard to say.
I replaced the current download with a fixed one, because apparently there were legit problems with menus / level selector for some players (as in those who had not already unlocked every mode before).
Anybody else can't make a new game?
Can you be more specific? I tested to be sure and had no problems selecting a chapter or starting from the beginning even without -developer shortcut.
It was a problem I had with other mods as well I realized. Reinstalled Weapon Patch to fix it!
