Beta 1.0 (initial version):
- Improved toolgun functionality: Each client on a server now has their own selected tool without sharing it with others.
- Converted most NPC sounds into sentences to avoid precaches.
- The HUD now adapts to the screen resolution, which can be modified in the advanced options under the multiplayer tab.
- VGUI menus have been redone to adapt to screen resolution. However, they might look bad because rescaled TGA images cannot be used.
- HUD color customization can now be changed with a single command, such as: "hud_color RRR GGG BBB" or Hex #RRGGBB. The "hud_colorable" command must be enabled to change the color.
- Added buddha and zeus modes, both different types of immortality, which require the cvar "gm_allow_health_modifier 1" to be enabled.
Server Cvar List:
- gm_allow_gaussfly: Determines if the gauss can make players fly.
- gm_allow_health_modifier: Allows the use of Buddha and Zeus commands (linked in Create Server/Game).
- gm_allow_noclip: Allows the use of the noclip key (linked in Create Server/Game).
- gm_allow_worlditems_respawn: determine if world items can respawn (linked in Create Server/Game).
- gm_gamerule_sandbox: The base that enables all sandbox features (linked in Create Server/Game).
- gm_infinite_ammo: Makes ammo in all weapons infinite.
- gm_monster_custom_hp: Value used by the toolgun health modify tool.
- gm_monster_polem: Enables the polem effect on misplaced monsters.
- gm_npc_noai: Determines if AI is enabled.
- gm_weapons_deathmatch_skills: Determines if weapons make damage like in multiplayer (linked in Create Server/Game).
- gm_weapon_spawn_setup: determine the weapons does it appear with when spawning (linked in Create Server/Game).
Precache Limit:
I extensively used sentences.txt with NPC sounds to ensure all vanilla and Op4 NPCs are loaded without precache limit issues.
About the VGUI Menus:
Sorry if you dislike the change. I prioritized functionality over aesthetics. I'll try to fix it in the future using something else, like IMGUI, as I'm tired of using VGUI. I'm aware the button text looks bad, but this is temporary.
New Render Tool Features and options:
Now you can change the render ammount, for example: you can change the density of the transparency of the npcs, if you have the glowshell option you would be changing its size and many other possibilities.
With right click you can now completely copy the render of one npc and paste it to another.
Now if you want to see the exact values of the colors that you change while you press the buttons in the render menu, write the following command "button_allow_logs" in the console and it will write the values as you press the buttons.
Missing Content:
Additional NPCs and weapons will not be added; only the vanilla and OP4 weapons and NPCs are included. Other missing content from Go-Mod Reborn has not been implemented yet because I want to rewrite the code and improve it.
