Far East War
The second Sino-Japanese war is a part of WWII, but for quite a long time, the fiercest Asian battlefield was forgotten……
Because of the war and widespread disease and famine, China suffered 35 million casualties, 20 million of which died. The war in East Front lasted for 4 years in Europe, 6 years in China, 8 years since Marco Polo Bridge Incident and the war fully broke out in Mid-1937, but in fact, Chinese never gave up resistance for 14 years, after Mukden Incident in 1931……
We cherish the memory of the martyrs, and we will never forget the foreign friends who helped us to win the liberation, no matter they're American, Russian, or German……
Far East Features:
- a conversion for Company of Heroes of the Far East War
- two factions: NRA (National Revolutionary Army) and IJA (Imperial Japanese Army)
- new models and textures, including tanks, planes, buildings, weapons and soldiers
- new units, abilities and commander trees that faithfully reflect the tactics from the Far East battlefield
- new maps featuring Chinese and Japanese Buildings
- 5 new game win conditions:
- Victory Points (with POW) = normal victory points condition of 500 points but with POW, meaning that troops may surrender, when under suppression or when other troops around them have fallen
- Annihilate (with POW) = normal Annihilate but with POW, meaning that troops may surrender, when under suppression or when other troops around them have fallen
- Annihilate (with POW,999 popcap) = normal Annihilate but with POW, meaning that troops may surrender, when under suppression or when other troops around them have fallen, and the pop cap is set to 999
- Annihilate (with 999 Popcap) = normal Annihilate but the pop cap is set to 999
- Annihilate (with 300 Popcap) = normal Annihilate but the pop cap is set to 300
- a fully integrated Cheat Mode (not available in multiplayer).

- Chinese and Japanese voice replacement is in progress, but very slow

Hello!. I have been playing CoH since the very start and I'd like to drop by and say awesome mod!.
I'm playing as the Japanese and having a really bad time trying to defeat the Chinese, their Breda howitzers are a real pain in the *** for me sometimes! :)
Anyways, awesome job and keep it up!
In the 20161225 version, there was a serious BUG that could not destroy the base of the Japanese army, but also the iron wall war, the Japanese soldiers themselves, it was really a crying joke!

Hey, i'm a relic from a forgotten time who once worked on Pacific Thunder (although admittedly never really did anything :( ), another mod for CoH based out east (although with the US/Commonwealth instead of the Chinese).
Just wanted to say well done on the excellent mod, i'm so happy to see the eastern theatre make it into the game on such a grandiose scale as you've all achieved.
Nice to see modders I once worked with on the credits listing too, congrats guys i'm happy your excellent work has been made available for public appreciation! Chopin and Tiger_205, i'm looking at you in particular. Astoundingly good workers!
Wishing you all the best for the future whatever you guys do, and for the continuation of this mod on what is still a brilliant game!

You never had any interest in sharing your stuff with the remaining community Dan? I mean, the work done on Pacific was maybe not much ,but it was quality work nonetheless. Would be a shame to let it go to waste, don't you think? As a goodbye gift after all those years? :P
I would of given any and everything possible to the community to help anyone, however Id imagine most of what was made for the mod is already here via Tiger205/Chopin, who helped me (well..i say "helped" but I didnt really do anything!) on Pacific. Apart from that there was the extremely talented Uccido. Unfortunately, the Pacific Thunder file system is long gone as far as I can tell - I cant find any remnants of it on my HDD!
