Dynamic Campaign Generator (DCG) is a mod for the game "Men of War" and some of its successors that randomly generates skirmish missions and lets you keep your surviving forces from one battle to another. Some people find this mod tricky to install the first time - please read the readme.txt carefully and ask for help (if you need it) on our forums here on this site, or at the game developer's site.

WARNING: You may find this mod difficult to install. It is for singleplayer. DCG can also be difficult to win -- it is designed to force you to retreat and live to fight another day sometimes just like in real life, but there are many strategies you can follow to improve your chances of success and many things you can do to adjust the difficulty from the default - feel free to ask for suggestions or help!
DCG v5.5 has been released for original Men of War as of December 24 2018. If you downloaded it before January 5 2019, you may want to re-download or install the two patches to fix minor issues that were found after release.
There will likely be a DCG 5.5 release for Call to Arms later.
Most of the changes to the program are under the hood or still work in progress. We decided to release anyway because of the biggest change for version 5.5: the inclusion of vehicles, cannons, soldiers and even an airplane for a new nation in DCG:
The Polish Army has arrived in DCG!
A friendly reminder: do not use any assets from this mod without permission from Zeke Wolff!
Enjoy!

Dont think that will happen. I dont own MoW2 (yet, not sure if I will buy it or not) and I havent heard from Jason1 (coder and team leader) since before the covid pandemic.

Hello, is there any information about converting/adding new units? I'd like to convert DCG (MOW:AS2 in particular) to use different units for a mod (private mod of course).
EDIT: I meant to say: I can figure out most things myself, but I was wondering if there was any documentation to speed it up.
Depends. If you want to add/convert units from other GEM related games (like from GoH) its just a matter of comparing .def and .mdl filed to get it to work.
New vehicles from scratch, if you still can find it online, Cromtec made a really good tutorial on how to export etc.
New units from other games, like World of Tanks, is a different matter since you need to rip them from the game and import tmem into 3ds max, rig them etc and then export them into the game just like you would do with a unit made from scratch.

It's been pretty easy so far, only thing I'm running into issues with is getting the path to a unit texture. I thought I had it but I haven't been able to do it so far.
Hello,
how can I change the maximum number of troops in the files?
In the campaign overview (where you buy the units) you have a limit on how many troops you can have.
You can increase this with wins, but there is a hard limit.
How can I increase this hard limit in the files?
1)You have to go to the XML-folder (within the Campaign-folder):
For me it is C:\Program Files (x86)\505games\1C\Men of War\mods\Campaign\xml
2) In the XML folder you will find the file "Settings"
3) Open this file (with Editor) and change the value in the line "unitsbasemax" (I have increased the value from 20 to 999)
4) Save the changes... and have fun!
Since I am not the coder of DCG, I am not sure if you can change the hard limit. It might be hardcoded. If not, my only advice is to check within the .xlm files. Not sure if Jason1 is still around, havent heard from him since 2020/21.

Hi gentle Zake, there is a way to restore the ennemies on the minimap.
Thank you
Thank you! I have understood by myself!
