Dark Interval is a campaign mod created as an alternate take on Half-Life 2, incorporating selected early story drafts and cut content. We're creating new maps, assets, characters and story beats to fill in the blanks, and to build a coherent story of its own. The mod is released in episodes, the most recent being Dark Interval: Part I - an intro chapter to the bigger picture.
I can only say, there is room for a BMS success! And someday i hope Cvoxalury will bring it on steam like CC did with Black Mesa! The atmosphere of that interpretation is the best I have ever seen in the HL universe!

The first part really was incredible. There is too much good things to point them in this review, so I would only recommend whoever is reading this to download and play this mod.My congratulations to the developpers !
Love it absolutely amazing, Voice quality needs a bit of work.
Really well made map design, although a slow start but it makes for an enjoyable experience. As of Part 1, not that much action yet but very promising.
That was awesome
Good parts:
+ level design
+ atmosphere
+ length (1 - 1,5 hrs)
+ models and textures
+ ambient sounds
+ choreography
+ the arcade minigames
Weak parts:
- very little action
- almost no puzzles
Very impressive interpretation of what HL2 should have been. Looking forward for Part II. Recommend to try out. :)
So. i finished it. what did i expect.
Sick. I love the ******* mod. it got the same feel as when i played hl2 for the first time. having reactions. seeing the cremator. and all that crap. there are some issues. but it dosent really AFFECT. gameplay.
There is no lip syncing. it looks soo ******* weird. i hope they will fix it.
i kinda got stuck in some section. but it was mostly because i am a ******* idiot.
For now. its good. but now il just wait for part 2.
Releases for newer episodes are taking long but I think it's going to be worth it in the end.
