We continue developing Cold Ice Remastered Beta 5 into May, the wildest mod ever. As we wait for the new version, we invite you to download Beta 4 and join our attractive Discord community. Are we still parched? Read about the excellent features of Beta 4 and see for yourself.
First, we introduce two new game modes. We have the horde mode, in which enemies spawn at varying difficulties. Battle with your teammates by putting these enemies down. Each wave gets harder and harder until there is no way to defeat them! How high can your team go?
Next, we have the game mode shidden. Inspired by our idols at Jabroni Brawl, there is a team of hidden deatlers and a crew of seeking smelters. Whichever team wipes the other out, wins. Included is a mutator called "dealter," in which everyone can fart, fragging in a radius.
Next, we'll introduce new mutators, thirdperson, noclip, bigfoot, and mirror. These modes are self-explanatory. In "third person," the player is placed on the outside, over-the-shoulder view (special thanks to Napoleon, BlueNightHawk, and Bacontsu!). In "noclip," the player flies around the map, but be careful! Once the timer expires, if out of bounds, you'll die! In "bigfoot," quickly step over large boxes and obstacles. And finally, "mirror," which horizontally mirrors the screen.
Finally, Cold Ice Remastered will feature an ammo counter crosshair readout. Like other great mods, we like to emulate what we see in awesome games like Half-Life 2. Both clip and ammo readouts are available and are a nice visual touch.
