Finally, you can play this as a standalone mod at the beta test stage!

Recently, I decided to implement some features that may impact the gameplay. So, I released this beta test to get your feedback as much as possible before the fixed release (V2.0).

As a standalone mod, just put the downloaded archives in a folder and extract one of them with Winrar. Ensure that you've extracted the base mod first and then the patch.

Install the patch by 'Drag n Drop' to where you store the "BAD COMPANY 2 MOD V2.0" mod folder, and then overwrite all of them.

You may be interested in playing with the Leaning feature. You'll notice that I also included the Python 3 installation file after you extracted the archives. You need to install Python 3 to get it to work. Please note that most of the weapons don't have a leaning system. You can check them by aiming the gun and pressing E or Q. I recommend you also change the key bind of the Spotting Radio key to F in the control settings. I might also upload the remaining maps later.

To make the 'Leaning' mechanic work, it's important to note that you need to install some Python libraries. Open your CMD (as an Administrator if necessary) and then type these commands and hit enter to install them:

pip install pynput
pip install keyboard

Cheers! Enjoy!

I'm not sure if we're meant to play this mod singleplayer only or if multiplayer is fine but attempting to play multiplayer with others only met us with a myriad of different issues. It works fine in singleplayer, albeit with some errors but you can check the comments for fixes. The errors you'll encounter also seem to be based on what hardware you use, in my case it was mostly flawless but I encountered bugs while playing multiplayer like the HUD elements not working or the game crashing when attempting to load certain maps in multiplayer that work fine in singleplayer.

Yes. That's why I recommend the mod players to play it in the single-player mode only. Because the HUD elements and custom VOs are not adapted yet for multiplayer mode.

Run the mod in windowed mode for debugging and see what's causing the error.

If I try to play via a dedicated server it crashes around 50% through loading the map. It doesn't matter what my settings are. Low, medium, high, same with audio, tried both software and hardware settings for sound, tried enabling and disabling EAX, tried everything. Simply does not work.

Common Issues & Solutions for V2.0
==============================================================
Issue: Game suddenly crashes to desktop without errors whenever a map is loaded to around 60 - 80 percent.

V1.9.5 Solution: Set overall quality in video options to Low or Medium. Anti-Aliasing must be Off.

V2.0 Solution: Try setting geometry in video options to high and see if it fixes the crash. Otherwise, set overall quality in video options to high. Anti-Aliasing must be Off.
==============================================================
Issue: "memory.dll: sanity check: block size doesn't seem sane" error pops up whenever a map is loaded to around 60 - 90 percent. When running the game in windowed mode, you will see the error prompt. When running the game in fullscreen mode, the map stops loading further and the cursor changes to a loading circle.

Solution: Press spacebar on your keyboard whenever the map stops loading and you see a loading circle cursor in fullscreen mode. Click cancel whenever you see the error prompt in windowed mode.
==============================================================
Hope this helps!
