A suggestion I have for this mod is to utilize the weapon sounds from Call of Duty: World at War. I say this because when the game was in development, Treyarch went above and beyond with the weapon sounds by actually recording the guns firing in real life.
Say, have you considered making an addon so that the weapons sounds are the ones from Call of Duty:World At War? I ask about this because apparently, during developent , Treyarch got all the weapon sounds by recording the actual weapons firing. Basically, those sounds are as realistic as you could get from wwii weapons.

Wouldn't it be easier to release the base mod now and release the maps your working on later? Not that you should do this,but I just thought I would ask you this because its like you said in the post,there are tons of maps and recreated chapters in hl2-beta.ru

I installed it correctly,but after I get through the logos,the game flat out crashes
We dont really know what the wasteland zombie was animated like,so this is what epicplayer had to do. My guess is that the zombie may have used hl1 animations and something else for the half zombie part
Just put the pak file into the id1 folder,but rename it so that it dosent conflict with the other pak files(rename it to pak2.pak for example)
