You're right sorry about that. The prompt won't show with VUI+.
It only shows when you are in a proximity to another activator that would cause a standard prompt to show up.
Sorry, I won't look any further into it.
Use the No Font Tweaks option at the installer. Also check this out: Falcon-lair.com
It was working fine last time I tested it and nothing has changed since then. Try a minimal load order and try a test new game by typic coc novac at the start menu.
Yes, as I've said "Assuming that you remove all mods after VUI+" remove any mod that overwrites VUI+ until you stop seeing this error.
The comments section is not meant to be used for this type of support. You better use the forum. However, your issue is not related to VUI+ and my suggestion is the same: remove mods until you find which one is giving you this problem.
Then you have some leftover overwrites in the game. That's the only logical explanation. MO2 has a generic overwrites folder, check this one out. There's probably some files in your Menus folder there.
Assuming that you remove all mods after VUI+, does it still give you the error?
These look good, are you sure you have no extra overwrites ?
Try uninstalling VUI+ and then reinstall it last. See if that fixes the problem, then move it right below the MCM.
Good. Show me a screenshot of your overwrites folder.
Uninstall Vortex and follow the basic section of the Viva New Vegas guide: Vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com
Install TTW according to its official guide: Thebestoftimes.moddinglinked.com
Install VUI+ according to my guide at Moddb.com, skipping steps 1 and 2 (which are already included in TTW).
Yes, open item_stats_display.xml in a text editeur and replace lines 375-381 with <visible> 0 </visible>
Don't waste your time with it. Just use VUI+ with Vicious Wastes and stay on point. Point being the improved gameplay Vicious Wastes is offering.
Yes, you can use it. In fact you can use it without the plugin and without anything other than the base game. It won't be optimal but it will work.
However I can only support you if you're using my mod with its specified requirements. (I do make an exception for TTW players and their own YUP alternative.)
There's no longer a plugin option because it's not an option anymore, it's part of the mod.
As for the fonts, the notification is all I can offer. Making it disappear won't fix the problem. You've got to fix it yourself by following the "Restoring font edits on your Fallout.INI" section in this tutorial: Moddb.com
Read the "Restoring font edits on your Fallout.INI" section here: Moddb.com
But do read this please: Moddb.com. Anything other than "A" would be great, and "R" was a good recommendation from a user in the early days of this mod.
BTW, I'm happy to see that users of my mod are increasingly DIYers and TFM readers.
You must be using another mod that does that; mine doesn't.
Thanks! Although I didn't experience the bug myself, it's good to know there's a fix here if I ever do!
Yes, to allow high res map icons to work.
See the thread here Moddb.com as it contains a link to solve your issue.
I replied to your argument under the question: "Was there a reason why you removed it in the first place? Just curious."
The text being centered without a background is the first experience a player sees when he first runs an unmodded game, both in FO3 and FNV. I believe Bethesda did their best in designing the intro, and I kept this format for subtitles everywhere.
The name tag is slightly moved because I wanted to support different aspect rations. The name in the original game is always right-aligned which is not balanced in very wide monitors.

I’m a mod author and a fan of role playing games, especially AD&D by Gary Gygax and Call of Cthulhu. Computer games can’t capture the feeling of storytelling between friends, but games such as Ultima Underworld or Fallout (up to New Vegas) can retain some element of role playing choice; modding can also retain the element of creative contribution. I’ve modded several aspects of Skyrim and New Vegas and my experience in modding sums up to this: only mod what you play, treat your users with respect, and be mindful to whom you license your work.
