Zero Gear is a physics-fueled, multiplayer kart combat game. Deck out your kart and character before jumping into one of many different game types. Awesome kinetic items help to spice up the action. With an open scripting system for creating new game modes, as well as support for user-created maps, karts, characters and more, you could experience something new every time you play. The potential for tiny vehicular mayhem has never been so humongous! Boost, flip, spin, tumble and slide your way to victory! (currently in beta on the PC platform)
A new version of Zero Gear is live on Steam! Along with some bug fixes, we also have a new map, “Aqua Race” included. Check it out!

Guys,
I'm not hating. I guess you could say someone's art is another person's master piece. But theres a Playstation 3 game that looks just like this that's in the making. Its actually in beta right now!! Its like these modders stole the idea and didn't even gave them credit. I don't know but when I seen this mod I got a bad vibe right when I seen the graphics.
But I won't be the judge... you can easily be.

Like for real "ZERO GEAR" you guys did something here. Like if you took someeone's idea then say it. Don't just come out and not say modnation racers gave you an idea. But I'm not blaming you guys for anything. Maybe, you guys don't even know about it.
You should be a comedian.
Here is an archive of our development blog from November 2007, waaaaaay before Mod Nations was ever announced. Nimblebit.com
this isnt a mod. if its a Steam based thing then it is a full blown game.
up until now, i hadn't even heard of Modnation Racers. i was thinking that Zero Gear was a Mario Kart Wii Spin-Off For PC...
dude ''mod nations '' is a PS3 game , n00b
You jackass, do you even know who started the development first?
Just tried the demo and its pretty fun. Love the soccer mode... I could see myself playing that for hours on end. Bit short on cash right now though :(
In addition to what I said above I'd just like to say your decision to make the game free to play for a few days on steam was inspired. I'm installing it as I type and after enjoying the demo, if I find the full version as good as I anticipate I'm sure I can stratch up the money from somewhere.
Ok been playing for 3 hours now. Will there be dedicated servers? Because ATM my only complaint is every game I join lags (even 100-150 ping starts to affect gameplay noticably) a fair bit and I can't handle running my own game if more than 3 people jump in...
Dedicated servers are already supported. See the readme.txt file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\zero gear\Help directory for details.
I was thinking more along the lines of whether you think people like PCG or clans etc... might end up putting up their own servers. Should have worded it better and to be honest it was a bit of a dumb question, my bad. Played it again today and with alot more people taking advantage of the free trail (and having a great time from what I could tell) I had no problem finding low ping games.
they are using ZERO GEAR TO CRACK MODERN WARFARE 2!!!
http://rzking.blogspot.com/
it's true aswell, they are using the Zero Gear demo to override Steam to allow people to play Modern Warfare 2 that's cracked!
Meaning Zero Gear is a direct crack in its own right!
Well there you go then. Yet another reason to support this game, it's loads of fun and people have used it to crack MW2. What more could we ask for...
