Zero Gear is a physics-fueled, multiplayer kart combat game. Deck out your kart and character before jumping into one of many different game types. Awesome kinetic items help to spice up the action. With an open scripting system for creating new game modes, as well as support for user-created maps, karts, characters and more, you could experience something new every time you play. The potential for tiny vehicular mayhem has never been so humongous! Boost, flip, spin, tumble and slide your way to victory! (currently in beta on the PC platform)

A new version of Zero Gear is live on Steam! Along with some bug fixes, we also have a new map, “Aqua Race” included. Check it out!

* Dedicated server no longer uses NAT punch through (if you were having problems with lag on servers, try connecting to a dedicated server now)
* A LAN server will only be listed once now if there it is also an internet server
* Invites to dedicated servers are fixed
* Plugins now supported, see pluginScripts.txt in the server directory and Assets\Scripts\Plugins for more info

I'm guessing this where we post to be "entered" in the contest. First off, I would like the say I think this can be THE kart game for PC. I would like it if there was a single player option instead of creating a private server with bots. A map of the track would be nice too. Also the ability to make custom track and maybe the idea of making "Cup Races" i.e. set tracks for tournaments. Anyways, fun game all around.
Ooh, also to add another classic look to the game, split screen 2 player... :)

Yep, I think I'll be purchasing this game after the free week. It's a seriously fun and addictive little game. I'm loving it so far!
And here's a little player TIP: Assign your Right Mouse Button to the Boost, instead of the default LSHIFT. ;)

I'm not hating. I guess you could say someone's art is another person's master piece. But theres a Playstation 3 game that looks just like this that's in the making. Its actually in beta right now!! Its like these modders stole the idea and didn't even gave them credit. I don't know but when I seen this mod I got a bad vibe right when I seen the graphics.
But I won't be the judge... you can easily be.
