Hello again! Today we have an exciting new update for our story-driven new world modification for Fallout 4: A Tale of Jo, Liz, and a Better World. Today, we're sharing a gameplay demo, featuring a quest about a third of the way into our story. We're all very excited to pull back the curtain on the story and world a bit more, and we all sincerely hope that you enjoy!
As a quick recap:
A Better World tells the story of two women on the run from the Institute: Jo and Liz, and their mission to create a better, safer world. After three years of relative safety, their past has caught up with them: they find themselves hunted by retention synths and a rogue, ruthless courser, with everything they’ve worked to build at stake. To support this story, A Better World features a dual setting split between the vast wilderness of Abbot County and the derelict ruins of an underground pre-war shopping center called Vault-Tec Plaza.

I'm writing to say that i love Bethsheda and i even use to sweetly call you " Bettie ".I played all your games since The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind + Bloodmoon and Tribunal then Oblivion , Fallout 3 , NV and Skyrim up to Fallout 4

I wasn't as much into Fallout as i was into the Elder Scrolls but i must say that i simply LOVE Fallout 4 and especially for finally having a voiced character.I like this feature the most !
I hope in the next Fallout spinoff , sequel or most likely the next Elder Scrolls game you will continue this trend forever with a voiced character.It's so much better this way.
I also praise the improved crafting system which is a great addition and the settlement construction. These things are amazing for me with 3 capital A's
Even more , out of pure genuine excitement for this game i made a blog, right at my profile with ideas of my own that i think it would be cool to see in future Fallout games.Just out of pure appreciation for the game i done this of course and i'm not expecting an AAA company to take my ideas into consideration and maybe your section here on MOD DB is not the right one for this but i felt to do it anyhow , so anyone that's from Bethsheda that wants to check that out and even drop a comment and such i'd be honored
I gave you max vote from me because there's nothing to complain about , really and once i truly like something i don't mind a flaw or two at it.Sure the game isn't perfect but you guys always optimize stuff and add things and so on and this matters a lot in the long run.
Sure people will always be complaining but rather than whine and criticize something we can also choose to see its good sides too
Nothing is perfect , no game is perfect but sincerly other than barely few other alternatives for a post apocalyptical setting namely : Borderlands or STALKER there aren't other options , other than Fallout and Fallout 4 is a great option and alternative to those games because it's iconic and has made a name in the entire world
Of course it might not be as deep and RPG-ey like Fallout 1 and 2 the isometric RPGs but it's full 3D , it's FPS so it's a step ahead of things in many aspects from them.
All i can hope now is a lot of DLCs to arrive for Fallout 4

Lol, no, they are not here.
After having spend around eight hours in the game, I can say that I like it. I'm not that fond of the hard-coded keymapping (I usually use the arrow keys for moving my character, which is also used for building purposes). I've noticed some lag issues on my GT630 but that can be the card itself, perhaps some GFX downgrading mods can be helpful here.
I do like the fact that you can build your own settlement(s) and that they are growing (despite yourself being saint or sinner). This is something Fallout should've had eight years ago when Fallout3 was released!
What I miss, is that weapons and armour don't have to be repaired anymore but perhaps I should change the difficult setting higher/harder.

someone please make a decent HUD for FO4. i am beginning to think that the developers did a lot of things in a crappy way so that modders could show off what a better job they can do. it needs just about everything! i have no talent in that regard whatsoever but i know there are really talented people who have the talent and to them, thank you for all you do!
Asking for a better hud is the same issue every Bethesda game has had. Thats not the issue here, the issue is the story is crap, the AI is in a really buggy state. Friendly and Enemy AI can't hit anything after minutes of firing! Except when it comes to grenades then they always hit their target. Many animals are frozen in place whether it be in the wild or coming out of the ground. The games been ported badly to the PC, I had to fix FOV, mouse acceleration, aim down sights speed by editing 3 seperate .ini files otherwise it was stuck in tunnelvision, uncontrollable mouse and slow as hell aim down sight speed (no sliders for those things). Lots of keys you can't rebind, dual functioning keys that causes you to accidentally to pick up all weapons in containers instead of reload or rotate pieces of house pieces with 'G' that you also can't rebind. Performance issues with vsync. What the hell? You get power armor (one of the best armors) within the first hour of game time. PC is a horrible afterthought. Yes obviously modders will fix it, they always fix every Bethesda game but seriously! This game is in a worse state than any Bethesda release so far. I would be fine with just glitches, but this is pathetic! If not even Bethesda can be bothered to polish a game before release and provide a proper PC experience then they don't deserve our money. Simple.
Then why do you play Bethesda games if they are so crappy (according to your expressed point of view)?
Becouse if there's something that bethesda is good at is create the graphic, animations,and game in his overall, problem is, they are totally incapable to create rules, story and npcs worth to deal with. That's why the communion between bethesda and obsidian went out so well.
Because they craft great worlds! Thats their saving grace along with mod support. Why they release in such a state though, they work on these games for ages... I mean seriously the reload key is the same as "take all" from looting so I end up accidentally going into a loot menu during a fire fight! What is this!
