Europe is in turmoil. The lands are fragmented into petty fiefs, the emperor struggles with the Pope, and the Holy Father declares that all those who go to liberate the Holy Land will be freed of their sins. Now is the time for greatness.
Increase your lands and fill your coffers, appoint vassals, battle traitors, introduce laws while interacting with hundreds of nobles, and create the most powerful dynasty of medieval Europe.
A beleaguered king will always have friends to support him. But beware, as your rule and realm may find trouble when a loyal vassal becomes a bitter rival. Stand ready, increase your prestige, and listen to the world whisper your name in awe.
Do you have what it takes to become a Crusader King?
For testers, I'm looking for people who speak decent French because I intend to speak directly with them. Volunteers can contact me by private message.
For testers:
- Speak and write French,
- Be patient :),
- Have a good experience on the game,
- If possible, know a little about the game files,
- Be a minimum organized for the tests and send me somewhat "orderly" reports,
- To know a little the universe "The Witcher" to find my errors or others. Do some research if necessary,
- For the rest on will see after.
The version that I will publish soon and a version "totally unsuitable for the official mod". I need testers to help me make it more "official" and less "personal"
Thank you for your attention !
Good evening everyone! I need testers to "test" the file that I will publish soon (see the other post).

A Rome mod for this would be awesome...
Well, there is Legacy of Rome, but I assume you mean one in which you start in B.C.
Yes, I meant the B.C. timeframe. Rome Total War is great but a Roman mod for CK 2 could provide us with many things that RTW can't.
You could always try Europa Universalis: Rome? It's not as character detailed as CK2 (you play as a nation with characters, rather than a character who can shift nations) but its a great Rome-era game, especially with the Vae Victus expansion.
I love the ElderKings mod, but it got me to think, how great would it be if some one made a based in Dungeon & Dragonss's Forgotten Realms, specificly in Faerûn.
would be a lot more difficult; Faerun has a lot of weird systems. But also quite neccessary. I would eat my hat for such a mod.
Well, I don't think hats are tasty, so maybe you should eat something else. I got the idea for this cause there is a Faerûn mod for Civ 5
some hats do taste funny

This game is £8.00 at Gamersgate.
that's weird that it needs steam got this at gamergate it was steam free
It's because Paradox have recently adopted the policy of releasing their games 'Steam only'. GamersGate has had the game longer and got it before they adopted this policy, but since it's only just come out on Desura it's subject to Paradox's current way of thinking.
Why the staff keep accepting games onto Desura that are just Steam keys I have no idea. There's literally no point in buying here since you can't install them from Desura (clicking the game in the Desura list just starts Steam up).
Not sure how selling keys that force people towards your competitors is good business sense...
I dont like to see Desura as a Steam competitor. I like to think of Desura as a place more focused on indie games and mods. Steam's workshop right now is being held back by the fact only games that steam support can have mods on the workshop and Steam's indie section is lacking. Greenlight takes too long.
