Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) will expand upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 12 years ago.
CS: GO features new maps, characters, and weapons and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust, etc.). In addition, CS: GO will introduce new gameplay modes, matchmaking, leader boards, and more.
"Counter-Strike took the gaming industry by surprise when the unlikely MOD became the most played online PC action game in the world almost immediately after its release in August 1999," said Doug Lombardi at Valve. "For the past 12 years, it has continued to be one of the most-played games in the world, headline competitive gaming tournaments and selling over 25 million units worldwide across the franchise. CS: GO promises to expand on CS' award-winning gameplay and deliver it to gamers on the PC as well as the next gen consoles and the Mac." CS: GO is being developed by Valve in cooperation with
Seattle-based Hidden Path Entertainment. The title is targeted for release in early 2012 and will be playable at this year's PAX Prime and Eurogamer Expo.

Here's a few screenshots of 2Bridges, a 64 player urban CS:GO map I've been working on.
It's almost finished now, I'm just putting the final touches on, gameplay, props, lighting, polish. It runs on a gtx-pro, It''s been designed to run fast, so the viz-portals are cut up nice and neat. I've even included a screenshot from hammer of the basic map block-out.

I remember when the p90 ruled the game and the carbine had a scope!
Only reason I stopped playing in Pick up games and other matches is because people that were thought to be "good" turned out to be cheaters in the end.

"...why you deserve a key...?"
Deserving something can be hard to tell why, but being a Counter Strike fan, for about 10 years now ( i started playing counter strike 1.6 in 2nd or 3rd grade and I`m still a big fan, or not a "fan", I`m more an addicted ).
I deserve a key because I need my new dose of CS FPS :P, so I can make magic with my cross-hair in a team FPS game, and I deserve the key because I love Valve games, and I need to play it from the early beta before it will hit the stores.
What will I do with the game? well: at first I will look how the guns react, than the maps. After that I`ll try my best to share my ideas what should be changed, and what needs to be improved in the game so that Valve and the Community can make a new "FPS Beast", that can handle big competitive game shows/tournaments with the old experienced CS 1.6 and CS:S players and with the new "console FPS " generation and get the same fun and competitive energy that the game put in us like when it first time appeared.
