A new emulation collection containing six classic Atari Lynx games is about to be released on the Nintendo Switch eShop later this month (as spotted by gosokkyu!).
The Epyx Collection: Handheld comes courtesy of the developer Imagine Software, who was previously behind The Monty Mole Collection, the recent reissue of Chip's Challenge, and the Commodore 64 Collection Hidden Gems: Volume One.
It will include a bunch of games that were first published by the American company Epyx for Atari's Game Boy rival and will contain a few quality-of-life improvements such as retro CRT and LCD filters, save states, a rewind feature, and right and left-handed control presets.
These are the games included in the collection:
California Games

Pre-orders are currently open on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game costs £11.99/$11.99 and will become available on April 25th.
Here's the trailer, which shows off some of the games in action and includes a look at the front-end, which contains 3D recreations of each game's original box art.

Why is this here instead of NintendoLife?
A decent collection, but just emulate them they aren't worth the money.
Nice, these are the better games from the Lynx library. Without these the Lynx would be nothing since Atari themselves couldn't even release any of their own games on the thing.
6 games for 12 bucks isn't the worst deal I've seen. Granted, they're Lynx titles, but they'll also go on sale at some point as well.
These were effectively first party titles as Epyx were the developers of the hardware and were originally going to release it themselves as the Epyx Advantage.
This needs ad-hoc multiplayer to finally revive 8-way Slime World battles.
Also, a physical copy.
California Games and Slime World are with the price alone, Electrocop and Zarlor Mercenary aren’t bad, either. These were all seen as solid Lynx games back in the day.
That slime world game is not great. Doesn’t inspire much hope for the rest.
Looks pretty cool actually. I've been interested in Electrocop ever since reading about it on Super Adventures In Gaming; old school experiments in pseudo-3D are always fascinating.

I'm guessing this is why the Atari Lynx collections for the Evercade were discontinued then. Still, it's nice to see some Lynx-exclusive titles reach a wider audience.
