Evercade manufacturer Blaze has announced that Amiga titles will be coming to the format in 2023 "and beyond".
The good news was confirmed at the recent Amiga 37 event in Germany, and will see Amiga titles appear in Evercade's growing library of physical cartridge collections.
"Blaze Entertainment will be able to license and publish Amiga games from multiple publishers for Evercade," reads the press release. "At this time there is no public confirmation of which games and publishers will feature in Evercade’s quickly expanding home computer lineup, but work is already underway to bring high-quality Amiga games to Evercade in 2023 and beyond."
Andrew Byatt. Managing Director, Blaze Entertainment, had this to say about the news:
Home computing is something we’re passionate about at Blaze Entertainment and something we’re delighted to now be offering to our customers. This new partnership with Amiga opens up a huge realm of gaming history and nostalgia to our products. We’re excited to bring even more incredible games in the home computer space to our portfolio of licenses with the support of our new friends.
While some famous Amiga titles have already appeared on the Evercade – including titles like Sensible Soccer and Speedball 2 – these were based on the console ports, rather than the Commodore originals.
The Evercade line consists of a handheld – a new version of which, the EXP, is coming this Christmas – and the TV-based Evercade VS.

This is great news. I hope the lineup is good. It's funny, but when I first got my Evercade I decided to buy all of the cartridges as I assumed it wouldn't be too successful and would prove easy to collect a complete set for. I already own more games than I expected to be released with no sign of it slowing down! Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing, but the collection is going to take up more money and space than I ever dreamed it would!
Will always have time for anything Amiga
I like this, awaiting my EXP at Christmas, already stocked up on four carts in anticipation.
What is on everyones wishlist?
Another World, Superfrog, Turrican, IK+, Super Stardust, Alien Breed, and Flashback all come to mind as games that would work well and have no mouse dependancy.
Awesome news!
Waiting for my Exp to go along with my original Evercade and Vs.
Evercades library is fast becoming a great place for us retro gamers.
This is great news, as a former Amiga A1200 owner. I expect that Team 17’s games will feature, as they already have a relationship, especially when they’re action-based and not reliant upon an additional IP licence.
Games by Graftgold, Sensible, Hewson/21st Century would be great additions to the Evercade library. There’s plenty of choice!
Nice to see Amiga titles been included on the evercade and its great that evercade are looking towards the old home computing era for titles. I am suprised that we havent seen any Atari ST games yet judging by how many Atari games across various formats have been released on the Evercade so far.
