Worldwide Computer Products News-7 June 2010-Sherpa launches Software Mail Attender version 4.6 for Microsoft Exchange(C)1995-2010 M2 COMMUNICATIONS http://www.m2.comE-mail management, e-discovery and archiving solution provider Sherpa Software announced on Monday the availability of Sherpa Software Mail Attender version 4.6 for Microsoft Exchange environments.
The company said the updated offering helps organisations leverage added capabilities of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 by automating movement of PST files to the Personal Archive, a new feature of Exchange 2010.
By automating the migration of PST data into the Personal Archive, the solution allows users to interact with archived e-mail within their primary mailbox, as well as discover, manage and back-up PST files.
The new release allows e-mail administrators to automate the process of moving PST data into the Personal Archive mailbox using a global policy and also enables them to extend search capabilities to the Personal Archive for discovery purposes.
Other features allow for the creation of rules and enforcement of policies to manage PST files on a group, user or individual basis.
Mail Attender is a scalable content management tool that automates the scheduling of common policies in multiple information stores. It streamlines the management process to address issues relating to policy enforcement, Outlook PST management, corporate e-mail compliance and storage.
