Larijani: Planners of Zionist-US conspiracy against Syria have failed.
Tehran, SANA- Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council Ali Larijani stressed that the Zionist-American conspiracy hatched against Syria over the past years has been huge, but its planners and sponsors have failed.
In a statement to Iranian al-Alam TV channel on Sunday, Larijani said that the "goal behind that conspiracy is to create a big problem in the region and to allow the Israeli occupation entity to usurp its resources."
"Yet that conspiratorial scheme has failed and Syria has been able to remain steadfast and to restore its role again," Larijani added.
He affirmed that "The United States of America is embarrassed now cause all the region's countries no longer trust it."
