Issyk-Kul to host international anti-terrorist drills.

Issyk-Kul will host two-day international anti-terrorist drills "Issyk-Kul Antiterror 2018" on Sept 25-26.

Representatives of law enforcement agencies from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will work out different ways to fight militants.

The Issyk-Kul-Antiterror 2018 exercises will be attended by members of the special services, armed forces and centers to combat terrorism of the CIS countries.

The first stage of these exercises took place in the CIS nations and Kyrgyzstan will host the finale.

Earlier, the Central Military District of Russia reported that it has deployed Iskander-M missiles from Ural to Kyrgyzstan for the first time for the 2018 Issyk-Kul Anti-terror axercises.

Around 1,000 Russian servicemen will partake in the international exercises.
