RICH NAJDUSAK & CATHY NOVAK Palmer Holland has named Rich Najdusak coatings technical specialist and Cathy Novak lubricant & metalworking technical service specialist. Najdusak has more than 30 years of technical experience in the paint and coatings industry. He served as laboratory manager and technical specialist at Borchers (formerly OM Group). Novak brings over 30 years of experience as a metalworking fluids formulator in the lubricant and metalworking markets. Most recently, she served as technical sales manager at Lanxess/Rhein Chemie for six years.DREW SPENCER TCI Powder Coatings has appointed Drew Spencer account manager for its Ohio and western Pennsylvania/New York territory. Prior to joining TCI Powder Coatings, he served as sales and marketing manager at ZeroBase Energy. Spencer will use his training experience in TCI's operations, product development, customer service, quality, and field technical service departments in his new position.
SAMUEL A. MILLS W.R. Grace & Co. has appointed Samuel A. Mills as vice president, Integrated Supply Chain. He will be responsible for the company's global manufacturing, procurement, order fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain planning activities. Mills has held a number of leadership positions throughout the integrated supply chain, including manufacturing, continuous improvement, and sourcing roles.
RICHARD NIGHSWONGER Richard Nighswonger has joined Dowd and Guild Inc. as account manager. He will support business in southern California and Utah. Nighswonger comes to Dowd and Guild with 13 years of chemical sales experience with Henkel Corp., Loctite Industrial Adhesives division.
RAMON LOZADA, ERINN WOODS & SANTOSH YADAV In a series of appointments at the Ashtabula facility, Chromaflo has added Ramon Lozada and Erinn Woods as color scientists and Santosh Yadav as product development scientist for Thermosets. Lozada and Woods will provide color technology support to both internal and external customers as well as train the technical organization in color practices for colorant dispersions. Yadav will conduct new product research and development for Thermoset Technology and provide technical support to the Thermoset business unit.
EDWARD J. BORKOWSKI ACETO Corporation has named Edward J. Borkowski chief financial officer. He has close to 20 years of financial leadership experience in healthcare and the specialty and generics pharmaceutical industry. Borkowski served as CFO at several healthcare companies including Concordia, where he was also a member of the board, Carefusion, and Mylan.
Glynn Goertzen
PILOT CHEMICAL COMPANY
Glynn Goertzen, current president of Pilot Chemical subsidiary Liquid Minerals Group Ltd., has also been named vice president of corporate development for the parent company. In this role, Goertzen and his team will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new strategic opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions that align with Pilot Chemical's business operations and growth initiatives. He will lead corporate development from both the Liquid Minerals Group headquarters in Huntsville, TX, and Pilot's headquarters in Cincinnati, OH, reporting to Sarah Mester, director of corporate development.
Daniela Manique

Solvay has appointed Daniela Manique as president of the Group's Coatis Global Business Unit (GBU). In her new role, she will be responsible for growing the GBU and strengthening relationships with its customers worldwide as well as its sustainable development strategy. Manique has 14 years of leadership experience within Solvay, including serving as manager of strategic raw materials in Latin America and in Europe and as director of Purchasing in Brazil.
John Davidson
BIRLA CARBON
Birla Carbon has named John Davidson president, Europe and Africa. He will be responsible for P&L for Europe and Africa and will report to John Loudermilk, chief operating officer. Davidson has over 28 years of industry experience and joins Birla Carbon from Lanxess where he led their Bromine & Derivatives business following its acquisition of U.S.-based Chemtura. Prior to Chemtura, Davidson held a variety of leadership roles with The Dow Chemical Company including global business director, Amines and Chelants; and global asset director, Specialty Alkoxylation assets, Polyglycols, Surfactants and Fluids.
