FAST issues guidelines for corporate e-mail use.

INTERNET BUSINESS NEWS-(C)1995-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

The Federation Against Software Theft (FAST) has issued a list of employee e-mail usage guidelines that should be put into place by employers.

The organisation claims that every company should have a clear balanced policy on e-mail usage that is known to all of its employees. Also, companies that are unsure on any aspect of acceptable e-mail use should see a third party expert and companies must make sure that they follow their own guidelines that they set down. Finally, each board member needs to realise that they are responsible for all of their employees' actions.
