Art Van Furniture promoted Jeanette McNamara to senior vice president of marketing. Prior to her new appointment, McNamara served as vice president of merchandising of AV Home Department and Scott Shuptrine Interiors.

Joann Stores named former Ulta beauty executive Varadheesh Chennakrishnan chief information officer. Chennakrishnan spent more than eight years at Ulta, most recently as senior vice president, applications and enterprise architecture.

Newell Brands Inc. President and CEO Michael Polk will retire at the end of the second quarter as part of a management transition. The board has hired executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles to help identify Polk's successor.

Bentley Frost Hardwick is Christofle's new president and CEO of Christofle Americas. She succeeds Nicolas Krafft, who moved to Paris and is now overseeing the France and U.K. territories.

Glassware maker Libbey named Michael (Mike) P. Bauer CEO, succeeding Bill Foley, who has retired. Faye Gooding will retire as CEO of Le Creuset of America at the end of this month. She has been at the company for more than 40 years. A successor has yet to be named.

Classic Brands named former Pandora Jewelry President of the Americas Scott Burger CEO. This will be a return to Classic for Burger, who served as its chief financial officer from 2004 to 2007. Company founder and CEO Mike Zippelii will become chief innovation officer and lead director of the company.

Walter Lehneis, president and general manager of Groupe SEB USA, has left the company, which said his successor would be named shortly.

Fabric and home fashions manufacturer Home Furnishing International named Jane McCormac-Raab president. McCormac-Raab was most recently a senior buyer for Bed Bath & Beyond, a post she held for the past eight years.

Bedding producer Englander CEO Kevin Toman has retired and will serve as a consultant to the Englander board of directors for a period of time. A successor has not been named.

Former Crate & Barrel sales executive Pamela R. Bailey joined Currey & Company as director of showrooms. For the past two years, since leaving C&B in 2016, Bailey pursued an independent consulting career in product development and design for overseas furniture factories.

Italian appliance manufacturer SMEG named Paul Mc-Cormack national sales director for North America's major appliance division. McCormack has more than 20 years of luxury kitchen and bath industry experience, previously with Poggenpohl and Miele.

Kuhn Rikon named Jim Haskins general manager of its business in the United States.

Lisa Pruett joined Downlite as chief sales and marketing officer. Before joining Downlite, Pruett, a Gulf War veteran who served fouryears as an officer in the United States Army, was executive vice president of sales at Easyway, a cut and sew private-label manufacturer of lifestyle furnishings to luxury retailers.

United Weavers of America has named Chris Papa sales manager of national accounts, a newly created position for the area rug manufacturer. He previously served as vice president of sales for Carpet Art Deco.
